We chose the private tour (there were 3 of us, my wife, 11 yo daughter and I) to visit Mutianyu. It was well worth the time and price-they treated us like VIPs and as stated in the title above this is a no-shopping tour. Our tour guide, Jessica, was very knowledgeable about China in general and specifically the Great Wall history. Our driver Ms Tang provided punctual service. She dropped us off and picked us up as expected. BTW, prior the the Great Wall tour, we went to the Forbidden City tour in the morning, as Jessica suggested. It was great timing since the temperature rose and had gotten hotter by the time we left. We highly recommend ChinaTour.net and will use their service again when we visit China in the future.
