Great tour. The guide, Helen, knows her way to give us path less crowded. She gave a lot of informations during the tour, as expected from a guide, but she also provided additional information and help on non-tour related subjects (eg: she explained to a participant couple where to find some specific stores; and another with subway connections). The lunch was very good...

Really enjoyed this tour, tour guide, Tina, was great, had good knowledge and showed us everything we needed to see. It was a shopping tour, which wasn't advertised, but didn't bother me, it was actually pretty interesting to learn about pearls and traditional Chinese medicine and no pressure to buy anything. Thanks for the great service!..
A lovely day with a nice guide. Spoke English well and with caring for all of us. Love going to the Chinese medicine store and the pearl store. They were extra treat we hadn't counted on..
The tour turned out to be a semi-commercial event with visits to tourist-traps dressed up as official visit. If you pay for a tour then there should be no such thing. Guide was good in terms of language and communication. He was light on content. The visits were good...
This will be a mixed review. As there were good parts and bad. My opinion is that the tour has too much included in one day. Making it so rushed that you cannot enjoy the tour, there is little time to yourself, it's mostly following the guide. Foot massage and pulse taking stops are just shopping stops disguised as something else. Cut this out and there would be more time to see the sights. The guide was knowledgeable but it was like boot camp sadly...
Single day tour of Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and Summer Palace was excellent. Tour guide suggested the proper viewing arrangement to finish at Summer Palace in afternoon. This avoided the afternoon heat in May. Tour guide as excellent, knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed a shared lunch meal with the tour guide and car driver. We had pleasant conversation...

Overall I had a great experience, it was great value for money and the guide was really nice and supplied loads of really good information. China Tours also were very helpful in changing the tour of Forbidden city and temple of Heaven to a 1 day tour of Forbidden city and Great Wall of China. The tickets were purchased beforehand by them and we almost didn't queue. There was time to take loads of pictures and I thought it was good pace. Tea experience was also great! Only downside is the lunch they provide and the time spent at the shops, but hey you can grab a burger on the way like I did!..
Tour guide abandoned us soon after lunch. Not all sites were shown to us as advertised...
Guide Lisa was very good and competent. Due to some confusion, we were picked up late and so couldn’t do Summer Palace on that day...

The guide (Roky) was very nice, he has a very good English and he was very helpfull. The van that transported us through the city was not what we were expecting (as it was described in the website): no cool AC, not very clean, not very confortable. I think that in the description of the tour you should clearly explain that the visit to the Summer Palace only include the ticket for the garden, not the palace, and that there is only one hour left for visiting, what makes impossible to visit the Palace by our own (at least 2 hours are necessary)...
I had a wonderful tour. We went to the Forbidden City, spent extra time in T. Square, went to Temple of Heaven, went to a Silk Shop, had a wonderful lunch and were ready to go to the Summer Palace - which I requested to change because the heat was getting to me. The guides took me to a couple local stops I preferred and then off to my hotel. I could not have asked for more. Thank you!..

There was’t a visit to the summer palace. Only a picture from the opposite side of the lake. The rest of the tour was wonderful..
