Poor excursion Visit the forbidden city (to call it somehow). The visit was limited to crossing the forbidden city by a side corridor without any interest. There was no explanation of the city prohibited by the guide. We had to return another day on our own to be able to visit it in conditions of having to pay the entrance again. Visit to the summer palace, there was no visit to the palace. The visit was limited to the entrance to the lake by a distant access to the palace and a free hour to tour the shore of the lake. The tour was not a visit to the summer palace, but to the shore of a lake, again we had to go on our own to visit the palace. Definitely, hire a visit that is worth nothing, only to lose money and time since we had to go to see the sites included in the tour another day with the consequent loss of time and money...
Nice tour. Guide gave a lot of informations and what is the most important she knows the way through the Forbidden city to escape the croud of poeple. Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace are beautifull places so I recomend everybody who visit Beijing to take that tour...
Very enjoyable day spent with China Tour Guide, prompt collection from hotel and taken to Forbidden City which was very informative, it was great we didn't have to queue for entrance tickets as it was very busy. Next stop Temple of Heaven, here again straight through. WE had a stop at the Chinese Doctor, interesting, and no pressure to purchase the medication they recommended as it was very expensive! Pearl factory, interesting and then final stop Summer Palace! Great day and lunch was OK!..
A broad brush strokes tour - you will get an overview of the sights. Given the itinerary covered, time does allow for in-depth visits to the sights. The tour was well organized, pick ups were on time and the guide was knowledgeable...
Great tour with superb guide Sue. We asked for Sue to be our guide since we had a Great Wall tour with her and we were very satisfied. Again, guidance was lovely with enough informations and "personal" touch. We had to change some money and she even found bank where we got better exchange rate then in center of Beijing.....
We were a group of 17 with our guide Tina.We visited as planned the Forbidden City, the temple of Heaven and the summer palace. The visit of the Forbidden City was very well described by our guide but I had the impression to run through this magnificent monument, seeing only the outside. We did not visit the rooms and the places where people lived like, for instance, the Six Western Palaces and Eastern Palaces. In which we could have seen the courtyards, front halls, rear halls and annexes and all the displays with the untouched and original settings. This was quite deceptive. Lack of time in the Tour program ? Maybe not if we skipped the Academy of Chinese Medecine and the Pearls shop. Nobody in the group knew that these two visits were included in our tour. The visit to the Temple of Heaven was as expected and we had plenty of time at the Summer Palace to walk around the lakes and the buildings. The lunch was OK but nothing extraordinary. The meal was ready on the tables when we arrived at the tourist restaurant. I would prefer a more genuine and smaller place. The food was correct. The bus was OK but one kid didn’t have a decent seat. Thank you to Tina for guiding us this day on this beautiful tour...

Daniel was a really great guide, really engaged and inspired with showing his cutie to foreigners. 5 stars go to him. There was one thing that bugged me at the end though, that I bought and additional kung-fu show through them, and paid 42$ I think for it. But a) we got the cheapest tickets (200 RNB, which is half the price at least) and the worst places in the theatre. B) there were no transportation from theatre to hotel. I mean, I don't mind taking subway, but if you pay double the price, I believe it should be included...
Chris, our Beijing-born guide, answered our many questions with great patience. This tour was a great way to start our holiday given that we were not familiar with Beijing city. A bonus is the pick-up and drop-off at our city hotel. However, if you don't want to do the factory tours then say so at the outset or you will get the hard sell...
Very interesting tour and saw a great deal. The guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The communication with the driver was excellent and he was ready to pick us up s we left each site. The only bad point was the visit to the Chinese medicine site where we were given "advice that was really a sales pitch for their products. We were more or less forced to endure and then pay for a foot massage. The rest of the tout was OK but the meal although excellent was much too early before 11 am...

Great tour. Lunch was not so good - actually did not enjoying at all. Had better lunches on the other two tours we took. Was a downer! Shopping stops were good but I suggest you book without the shopping to get more time on the sites. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and had ample time on our own to explore...

Booking was very efficient. Within 24 hrs I got confirmation. Our tour guide was Tina, she did introduced about Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, but not much about Summer Palace, it was not informative enough. The tour was good for people who like to have pictures. I on the other side want to deeply understand the place. However I can\'t complain because the group tour price is quite cheap and you can\'t ask for more. You have to travel with people from everywhere and it\'s not guaranteed that all of them have manner...

It is an excellent tour, comprehensive with an excellent Chinese guide who is talking English very well. We took an excellent idea about the wonderful Forbidden City , Temple of Heaven & Summer Palace, & in spite of the fact that we walked a lot but we benefited a lot.
