Review of 1 Day Tour: Great Wall, Summer Palace by ANNETTE

An exhilarating experience that broadens the mind by its many picturesque views. Measly pictures do not live up to the beauty and wonder of what you see with your own eyes. The great wall and the summer palace are both places you'd want to see before you die. Of course a great factor of enjoyment in a foreign land would be the assistance of a tour guide to describe to us the history of these spots and give us a review on its present conditions. Due to the aid of one very capable tour guide, we had very much enjoyed our stay in Beijing, eating at the best places and learning a history we had somewhat learned but forgotten from our high school textbooks. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience. Coupled with scenic spots and an amiable tour guide, our trip was filled with laughter and wonder; two of the things that make a real trip remembered.
