Pick you up from your hotel, and then drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, is the most beautiful section of the Great Wall. The vegetation coverage is about 96%. In summer, the mountains will be covered with green trees with the wall twisted and turned along the mountains. In late autumn, the leaves are turning yellow or red, the scenery is amazingly beautiful. Go hiking on the Great Wall for 2-3 hours. Cable car could help you reach the Great Wall.
After lunch, you will visit Dingling Tomb, also known as the Underground Palace, is the only tomb of the thirteen Ming Tombs to be excavated. Buried here are three individuals; Emperor Wan-li (died 1620), Empress Wang (died 1620), and another Empress Wang (died 1611).
Then, you will visit the Scared Road. The road is guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors.
After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel.

Very friendly tour guide. The tour was well organized. On the other hand we did not like the two sales events included into the trip (jade factory + tea shop). A high-priced private tour should not include such events which take the joy out of the trip and make you fell ripped off. more..

The Mutian Yu section of the Great Wall seemed to be the right choice. The ride in the cable car was very enjoyable and there were hardly any other tourists. We spent around two hours on the wall and were the last to go down. Our guide, May, did not mind at all but enjoyed the company of our children. Thank y more..
