Review of 1 Day Tour to Suzhou and Zhouzhuang (from Shanghai, back) by Rosemary

We enjoyed our one day tour to Suzhou and Zhouzhuang. We didnt see the walls of Suzhou but did visit two gardens - we far preferred the Lion Garden as it was less crowded. We then went to lunch which was a mediocre western buffet - we would have preferred some authentic Chinese fare instead. We were then taken to the silk factory which was very interesting. The highlight of the day was our visit to Zhouzhuang which was lovely. Our tour guide Annie had a good knowledge of English so we had a very pleasant day.
