Review of 11 Days Group Tour (Beijing -Xian -Yangtze Cruise -Shanghai) by Vicente

Here's my story. At the beginning, my friends and I were taken from the hotel by other guide (by my mistake). When we realized that, the driver just stopped and told us to get out of the car, because he's not gonna bring us back to the hotel (where they were coming back to take "right" customers"). After a long lasting "please, we don't know how to get back to the hotel" he still took us back. Hopefully, all this 20 minutes our guide and the group were waiting for us (and we came to Beijing for only one day, so if they have gone, we'd never see the Great Wall.). The tour started. We were finally relaxed and could enjoy our trip. From the first minute, guide was retelling us legends, and stories about China. Her english is very good and it's easy to communicate ;) After the Ming Tombs, jade factory and lunch (variety of delicious Chinese food), we went to the Great Wall. I can imagine how Chinese people should be proud of this ancient masterpiece. The Wall is amazing!! One more good thing - we didn't have to organize or do anything. Everything was done by the tour guide (sorry, I'm bad with memory for names) - lady. She was really fast in getting tickets for us (to the Tombs and Wall) so trip was very smooth. Of course the Xian trip for Terra-cotta army and Yangtze cruise to three gorges dam-passing through the beautiful gorges are amazing and wonderful experience too. The last city is Shanghai, and our Shanghai tour guide Annie spoke excellent English and was knowledgeable about the history. We visited two gardens and this was followed by a mediocre lunch at the Silk factory. A few of the other tours were also having lunch there. We would have preferred to try some Asian cuisine. The highlight was definitely the Zhouzhang Water Village if you have more time except the original itinerary. If I come to China one more time, I'll definitely go on an other tour with you, guys. China is so large with so many attractions to visit. Thank you for excellent job, friendly atmosphere and a lot of information :) hope to see you again.
