We had Private Two day Tour package with Serena and was very pleased. Both her and our driver was nice people and we got to see all the major sites in Beijing. A bit disappointing not to go inside Mings tombs, and only see the museum and surrounding buildings. Otherwise we loved it!..
My family and I did a 2 day tour in Beijing. As a first time international traveler I was very nervous about finding our way around. Unfortunately I lost my luggage at the shanghai railway station on the way to Beijing and went into a panic. our tour guide Kathy went above and beyond to help locate my luggage and showed us what we needed to do to reclaim it. She treated us like family and customized our visit based off our interest. We especially loved the tea shop, a visit made on special request. We are already talking about a 2nd visit and will definitely ask for Kathy again. I highly recommend this tour and Kathy as a tour guide. You save yourself so much stress when you have someone to help you get from place to place and to explain the culture...

I was very happy with my tour - I had never been to Beijing and don\'t speak the language - and had a brief two days to see the sites. David was a knowledgable and friendly tour guide and helped explain the history behind some of the lesser known (to me) sites like the Ming Tombs and Summer Palace, while making sure I had enough time to spend on the Great Wall and Forbidden City. One thing that was a bit suprising was that in some cases your tour guide will leave you to see some things on your own (lunch, visiting a Jade factory - where yes, they\'ll try to sell you things) . I would recommend setting a meeting place and time with your guide as it can be a bit unnerving to stand around wondering if you are going to be on your own in the middle of China! In other cases, David moved through a few sites a bit faster than I wanted to, but was also very agreeable to me stopping and saying I wanted to look around a bit more. That said, I wanted to see the sites and did - and it was amazing. Note to those climbing the Great Wall - you are CLIMBING some incredibly steep stairs and it\'s at high altitudes. It\'s exhausting (and well worth it) but I really wasn\'t prepared. I was luckily wearing good shoes but easily could have been caught in sneakers and that would have been tougher...
After getting the confirmation mail from Chinatour.Net, I felt secured and safe as I got friend in Beijing. I was very much excited on getting phone call from the guide before arriving Beijing. The guide also welcomed us as he knows us since last few years. The group was also too small, only 6 of us. We have visited all the sites as planned. We had been served with excellent lunch with varieties. The Climate did not favour us as it was too cold because of snow fall. We (four of us from Indonesia) visited Beijing for a seminar and we have 2 days private tour of Beijing. One interesting is watching Kungfu Show as additional trip. It was wonderful. Our tour guide, Jimmy is OK, very knowledgeable and spoke English well. The bad experience happened when there was a windy storm in Badaling – Great Wall and the Summer Palace was closed for a festival, so we couldn’t enjoy it. The Great Wall was an amazing experience. However please ensure that you go to the Badaling section even if it is a bit crowded. The tour was pretty hectic with us trying to catch up with our "super fast" guide...
Everything in the Tour went good, the tour guide speaks well in English, we learned too much from the history of China, but we didn\'t get inside the tomb under the Ming\'s Tomb hill..., only the Temple on the Ming\'s Tomb.....
My wife and I did the 2 day coach tour of Beijing. Our tour guide, Bruce, was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. We did have much time in Beijing, so this tour package was great for us. The only thing we wish we could have done was to walk down from the Great Wall. In the description, it lists the cable car as an option, but our guide told us we did not have enough time to walk up and back down the Great Wall. So everyone in the tour had to fork out an additional 80 RMB for a round trip cable car ticket. We were not expecting that. I understand that there are time constraints on the tours, but we had plenty of time to at least be given the option to take the cable car up and walk back down. After the Great Wall we went to the Ming Tomb and then returned and finished dropping off everyone at there hotels at 3:30PM. Plenty of extra time to be able to walk up and back down the Great Wall...
I only had two days to visit the main spots and it was a great way of doing it. Tony was a great guide and taught us a lot. I recommend this tour to anyone because Beijing is too big to walk and it's much easier to visit if you have a guide. I hope to go back one day!..
I booked this tour just a few days from the internet. Since Me and my wife Syarah were only staying a few days in Beijing, we just took the 2 days tour package. I really recommend this tour and I will suggest all my friend to take this tour if they go to Beijing. The guide Ms Wendy were good and very nice. She explain me about these tour very well. This tour was booked on the Internet a week before I visited Beijing. Service was excellent, with guides phoning the night before to confirm tha collection time. Pick-ups were on time and both Jennifer & Andy, the guides, were very knowledgeable. Everyone on both 19 & 20 November\'s tours agreed that this was excellent value for money, all guests on both days agreed that the service was fantastic. This was our second trip to China to show off to my wife's parents what a wonderful experience we had. Politics and myths will be what they are, China have shown me that people from whatever race or culture, are inherently good and hospitable at heart. Everyone showed us a great time, in fact, they went out of their way to ensure that we had a great experience. If we had hospitality like this back home, then this world would be a much better place. Our tour guide for this last visit was Rita (Morning Beauty), and when we thought that our last tour guide (Cynthia) was as good as it could ever get, Rita proved us wrong by elevating the service to the next higher level. They clearly work very hard. I was also helped by them to book last minute tickets to an acrobatics show one evening after listening to other people on the tour talk about how great it was to see. The budget tour was great (8 / 9 people) and I met people from all over the world, and have already been able to exhange emails / meet up with a couple of them. Its a great way to see Beijing, which is a huge city, and a great way to meet people and enjoy them time to the maximum. Very very highly recommended...
I can really recommend this tour, I only had two days and I saw a lot in the short time. Rita is an excellent guide very knowledgable and very outspoken in English. She really gave many interesting insights. Also the stops at the factories for silk, enamel and Jade were really interesting. The people are not so pushy - you are free not to buy anything there. Only thing to improve would be the transportation logistics. E.g. I was first to be picked up for the Great Wall tour. So in the morning I spent approx. 90 minutes in the bus before we were finally off to the Great Wall. In the evening the same thing on the way back...
If you only have a few days in Beijing- this two day tour is the way to go! The tour guides are friendly, know their stuff, and are well-spoken in English. The guide would start talking before I was able to even catch up to them. She rushed us through the forbidden city. We didn’t even get to look into any of the rooms. And I’m very unhappy about the refund process when I had to change tickets and cancel a performance because of the virus...
