 This tour was booked on the Internet a week before I visited Beijing. Service was excellent, with guides phoning the night before to confirm tha collection time. Pick-ups were on time and both Jennifer & Andy, the guides, were very knowledgeable. Everyone on both 19 & 20 November\'s tours agreed that this was excellent value for money, all guests on both days agreed that the service was fantastic. For a short visit to Beijing, this package is a must!! You get to see all the \"important\" places!!. Lunches were good and the guides were attentive to the needs of the group. I will definitely use this company again!!

 This was our second trip to China to show off to my wife's parents what a wonderful experience we had. Politics and myths will be what they are, China have shown me that people from whatever race or culture, are inherently good and hospitable at heart. Everyone showed us a great time, in fact, they went out of their way to ensure that we had a great experience. If we had hospitality like this back home, then this world would be a much better place. Our tour guide for this last visit was Rita (Morning Beauty), and when we thought that our last tour guide (Cynthia) was as good as it could ever get, Rita proved us wrong by elevating the service to the next higher level. The tour guides are extremely knowledgable and friendly and young and beautiful. Great experience and memories I will take with me forever. and we I took this tour on 23/24 May, I booked just a couple of days before online and as confirmed the tour guide called me in my hotel room the evening of 22 May and then again on 23 May to confirm pick up times.  I took this tour on 23/24 May, I booked just a couple of days before online and as confirmed the tour guide called me in my hotel room the evening of 22 May and then again on 23 May to confirm pick up times. For the money paid (in cash to tour guide after day one completed) I cannot believe how much is packed in and included - We visited everything on the list and there were other places of interest added, such as Pearl, Jade, Silk Factories, Tea House etc, which was a bonus. Lunch on both days was good too. The guides (Jennifer on Day 1 - Great Wall etc, and Christina on Day 2 - Forbidden City, Temples etc) were very friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They clearly work very hard. I was also helped by them to book last minute tickets to an acrobatics show one evening after listening to other people on the tour talk about how great it was to see. The budget tour was great (8 / 9 people) and I met people from all over the world, and have already been able to exhange emails / meet up with a couple of them. Its a great way to see Beijing, which is a huge city, and a great way to meet people and enjoy them time to the maximum. Very very highly recommended.

 I can really recommend this tour, I only had two days and I saw a lot in the short time.
Rita is an excellent guide very knowledgable and very outspoken in English. She really gave many interesting insights.
Also the stops at the factories for silk, enamel and Jade were really interesting. The people are not so pushy - you are free not to buy anything there.
Only thing to improve would be the transportation logistics. E.g. I was first to be picked up for the Great Wall tour. So in the morning I spent approx. 90 minutes in the bus before we were finally off to the Great Wall. In the evening the same thing on the way back.

 If you only have a few days in Beijing- this two day tour is the way to go! The tour guides are friendly, know their stuff, and are well-spoken in English. You can not beat the price to see all these great places. The whole time was great, even the lunches! Excellent opportunity-trust me!

 I really recommend this tour. The guides + Mr Song and Cindi+ were very professional, they express very good in english. know their theme.
the bus was ok, the driver very proper, always on time.
we enjoy the meals, very flavour, and places neat.
i will recommend it to my friends.

I will recommend this tour we took by 2/11 and 2/12 to all my friends and colleagues interested in visiting Beijing. I really can recommend to everyone as we enjoyed seightseeing and value the convenience of the tours. Everything fit our needs, the agenda, price, vehicle, always on time. We also value tour guide and driver kindness.

I booked this tour on 9/10 Feb. with my family and two friends. The tour had a lot of lovely sites such as the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs on the first day and The Forbidden Palace, Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven in the second day. Although these were monumental and memorable places to visit on both days we were on a little rush and didn\'t have plenty of time to bask in the beauty and glory of these ancient places. Our guide was Wendy on both days. She guided us through all the site seeing wonders and she often walked ahead of us while we were trying to look at all the relics and antiques, after our tour (on the first day) Wendy left the bus before the dirver dropped us off at our hotel - technically as a tour guide one should pick and drop customers off - not look for a convenient way to get home early especially since we (the customer) paid for her service. On the second day we went to all the places on the list except for Tianemen Square because apparently it was not in the 2 days tour description - We ended up going on our own to Tianeman Square the third days morning. Although I enjoyed my visits to the places in our tour list I would suggest the tour guide give customers extra time to see these places and visit these places and exhibitions. Also out of courtesy to the customer don\'t leave the customers even if they are moving slow. It was quite evident that the tour guide had a lot of knowledge about these ancient places but when we had questions we couldn\'t quite ask them since we had to catch up to the tour guide and by that time the tour guide was well passed the site that we had questions about. All in all I wish I had more time at the site-seeing places.

We booked the tour a week before we got to Beijing. The information and confirmations were all OK to make sure we know what to expect.
The night before we got a message to the hotel about the time of the pick-up.
The pick-up was on time and we got very good company both days. The groups were small enough (6-8 people) to be able to fully enjoy the tour almost like a private one.
The lunch was very OK both days.
The stops at the shops were also OK, if you wanted, you could buy nice things, but if not, you could have a nice look around. And our guides were always there to help us, if needed.
We had Wendy and Samantha as our tour guides. They were both very knowledgeable and had good English. We spent a little bit more time with Samantha, and I can say just very good things about her kindness.
All in all, we got exactly what we wanted. If you have only limited time in Beijing or do not want to spend much time with individual travel, this is the tour for you!

I booked 2 days tour for May 26 and 27 for 2 persons via online before departed to Beijing. A night before, the guide - Cynthia - called me to confirm the pick up in the next morning. It was an on time pick up. Cynthia was really nice, friendly and very informative. Her English was quite good too. She knows my mother speaks Chinese and doesn\'t speak English so she explained in English to other European tourists and me while she speaks Chinese to my mother. We spent about 1.5 hours at Great Wall then had lunch before heading to Ming Tomb. From Ming Tomb, on the way to our hotels she brought us to a traditional herbs store for foot massage. The massage was great, healing our exhaustment after climbing Great Wall. We were satisfied with the tour and the guide
The next day the tour changed the guide (Wendy). Sorry to say but she was a lousy guide and it was a bad tour experience. Firstly she picked us up late around 15 minutes. In Forbidden City, Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven, she was really rushing us so we didn\'t have a chance to take photos and explore the beautiful landmarks. In Temple of Heaven we even only have 20 minutes to explore this place! She didn\'t explain a lot and most of her times just playing around and joking with other male tourists. She also gave us too much unnecessary time in jade and silk shops and let us wait for her in every shop. The most amazing thing, when the coach drove us back to hotel, she jumped out of the coach to go home when tourists were still in the coach. I\'ve never seen such a neglectful, irresponsible guide like her! Although her English was better than Cynthia but with her manner, I\'m not sure she\'s ready and capable to be a guide! I hope next time China Tour can select better guide.

Absolutely recommendable! Very smart guides who spoke fluent English. Good organisation of the tours with delicious lunch. And rather inexpensive. Would book Chinatour again!

We totally recommend this tour. The guide, Peter, was excelent. We had a small group, and had lots of fun. The meals were very good. It was a great way too see the major sites in a short time.
