I booked a three day tour with Chinatours.net based on a recommendation from some colleagues at work who toured with them. It was my first time doing solo travel and everything was so wonderful. I felt like I saw everything worth seeing in Beijing and also made connections with the wonderful people in the group that I toured with. The tour guides were considerate and supportive and did everything they could to accommodate everyone. The hike on the Great Wall was exceptional, Summer Palace, Lama Temple, Forbidden City, Panda Zoo...all awesome. Our guide also gave a lot of historical perspective to the places we visited. I had one glitch, I signed up for Peking Duck dinner and the Opera but both evening events were cancelled by the company. This was disappointing for me. Regardless, I would recommend this tour company.
