 My wife and I booked this 3 day tour before arriving in Beijing. Our tour guide, Penny, was very knowledgeable and fun! We actually were the only tourists in the car with Penny and our driver, and we really enjoyed the personal interaction and historical information about each site that we visited. We have been to many countries on many tours, but this is actually the first time that we haven't been ready to return home. Each adventure was so entertaining and informative. We hope that Penny will some day come to Texas so that we can how her around!!
We highly recommend this tour to anyone!

 We visited Beijing in the middle of April. Just after arrival to our hotel I booked this 3 days tour package from Chinatour. Must say that this package fullfilled our demands perfectly. Even that all the days were full of activities and it was early evening you were able to come back to hotel we really can recommend this to anyone. Our tour guide was full of knowlegde and very helpful what ever you wanted to get know.

 I would highly recommend this tour package to anyone who would like to see just about everything there is to see in Beijing within a short amount of time. And yes, you read right - the tour package price truly is a bargain. You absolutely get "Bang for the Buck." My friend and I opted for the coach tour and was really pleased to find out that it wasn't with a mass of people on a big bus. During the 3 days, our group ranged from 6 to 11 and so it was very intimate. Coming from the US, we got to meet and get to know people from other parts of the world like Thailand, Canada, Australia, Philippines, Denmark and Malaysia, which made the days so much more enjoyable. The tour guides were friendly, spoke English fairly well and for the most part, very accommodating, especially Song and David. It was definitely a memorable experience being in Beijing and the 3 Days Tour was a major positive factor.

 I travelled alone in Beijing. I noticed that looking for a travel agency around Beijing is not problem. You can grab them at any time. Just provide fees and it's negotiable. Of course 3 Days Beijing Tour Package is more convenience to me as I just have to wait at the hotel, and there you go!
I just got a little problem about food, as I am a muslim!! I am very concern about 'HALAL' food although lunch was arranged without pork!.
Anyway we have an excellent tour guide, Mr. Song, a very friendly, flexible and having a good English to brief us. Package tour is best for everyone if you wish to get friends from all over the world.

I booked this 3 days bus tour before arriving in Beijing. Our tour guide, Cynthia, was with us for the first two days and was assigned to a different tour in the last day, and we were given another tour guide who speaks English less well. Furthermore, the last day was not a full day and everything ended by 2:30 PM which was upsetting to us; we asked if we could go to a close by park and we were told that we have to pay additional money to do that. I don\'t think that tour guides should be changed after they are assigned because the group gets used to one person. I also think that tour guides should be tested to make sure that they can speak and understand whatever language(not only English) they are using to communicate with the tourists.

Very nice tour, the guides were very polite. The places were marvelous including some "bonus" excursions that if somebody was touring alone, would have missed them. Places like the cloisonne factory, the pearl market and the jade factory...

When we arrived in Beijing a driver from China Tour was to pick us up and take us to the hotel. After waiting for about 30 minutes, a young man assisted us in making a call to the company aprising them of the situation. The company apologized that they were expecting us the next day. Within the hour a driver and guide arrived and wisked us to the hotel. From then on, everything turned out great. Our guide spoke English very well and was extremely knowledgeable about the sites that we saw in a rather packed agenda. The driver was excellant navigating the busy streets full of cars, bicycles and pedestrians. All and all we had a terrific time and I would highly recommend this tour.

I would highly recommned this tour to friends going to Beijing. We were in Beijing for five days so this tour is perfect. Each day ended pretty early so we had enough time to go out and check the city on our own. Though for those who will be staying less days in Beijing and want to see all of these sttractions, I think they could all be combined in just two days.
Before I forget, many thanks to Chinatour.net for all my bookings - hotel, airport transfer and this three day tour. It was amazing because they did not require a credit card or any sort of prepayment to book everything.

we are a group of four female friends and 3 young boys aged 12-13and took the couch tour. what a fantastic trip.I would highly recommend it to everybody whose planning a short stay in beijing. The trasportation was very comfortable and we do not have to worry what to do. our tour guide , Mr. David was very much helpful, ready to assist,friendly with a happy face, knowledgeable,speaks very good english and very dependable.He even offered to take pictures of us.
Our hats off to you Mr. David.Our first day was supposed to be at the Badaling walls,but unfortunaley it was the first snow fall in the winter of 2007 and due to thick layers of snow it seems dangerous to tour the Badaling. but this really did not matter because we opted to visit the other part of the wall which I don`t remember the name.
My friend`s son needed to pee and the couch was in the middle of the highway,the chauffer looked for the nearest stop and Mr.David went with the boy to the rest room without any complaints whatsoever in his face.
On our way back to the hotel we asked Mr-.David if he knows where we could find some bank automats to get some cash .to our surprised he directed the driver to stop at the ATM machine station...and we were able to get cash.

Overall, the tour was good, especially the Summer Palace/Forbidden City tour. The tour guide, Jennifer, was exceptional. She provided a lot of information about the places. The Lama Temple/Hutong tour was not that great, especially the inclusion of the carpet factory tour.
The Great Wall tour was also good.

my boyfriend and i took the three day tour. it was a great deal. we had a tour guide named cindy and she was wonderful she helped us with whatever we needed. we called her if we needed directions and she would talk to the taxi driver and she even set us up with anything extra that we wanted to do, and gave us helpful information on what to do or where to go and what places were good to see. as far as the tour day one for us was wonderful, day two we were a little dissapointed because we have been dying to see summer palace and all we did there was go in the boat across the river and back literally that was it, because it was during China holiday golden week (May first~seventh) and there were tons and tons of people so it was hard to enjoy it all and get around but it was still pretty good, my boyfriend had planned on proposing to me at summer palace, but we didnt get the chance. on day three it was short but great because we went to HuTong and thats where my boyfriend asked me to marry him when we were on the rickshaws, but overall our trip was wonderful and it was worth the $80 we paid plus a few extra...i would recommend this tour for others

The tour was good. The guide and the driver were very helpful. They took personal care and went out of the way to provide extra services. Since myself and my wife wanted vegetarian food, we were pleasantly surprised that it was available. That was unexpected in China. The guide helped us to give directions for shopping and recommend bargain places. Myself and my wife felt that two days tour was enough. Of course, it depends on individual liking.
