We had a wonderful experience of leisure travel in China - Thanks to ChinaTour.net!
Every thing they promised was provided as promised. No hidden costs, every thing crystal clear! Hotels in Beijing (Howard Johnson)and Shanghai (Holiday Inn) were excellent, cars were good and the drivers and tour guides were very helpful. The drivers did not know any english, but knew exactly what we may need and when! The tour guide in Beijing, Martina, was excellent - getting things arranged in minutes - we did not have to wait anywhere. She even lent us local currency for the night after we spent everything we had on shopping! The hotel in Xian (Skytel) was slightly below expectation, and a minor goof up in Shanghai - we were not told from which out of the four exits of the railway station should we come out and no one answered the phone (Sunday morning) from the agency so we had to finally take a taxi to the hotel, to finally find that we were not booked in this hotel. However, the agency could be contacted in about an hour and we were taken care of after that!
I would recommend anyone visiting China to take Chinatour. net package
Mr Wang who was coordinating our tour had been very helpful in making all arrangements even buying train tickets out of their packaged program.
