Review of Beijing Capital Hotel by Trevor

The hotel is situated in a very good position, 15 mins to Tiananmen Square, 10 mins to subway, both by foot. The hotel facilities are very good, the rooms spacious and well serviced every day, our rooms carpet could do with cleaning, but apart from that, no complaints, all the staff we met were more than helpful, and had good English. The only thing I thought was not good was the price of breakfasts, tooooooo expensive, if was a buffet would have been a little better, but you had to choose what you wanted, I am English, my wife is Chinese, she would not let me pay these prices, that is probably why the restaurants were never busy, this tells you something, other hotels I have stayed in were always very busy and difficult to find a seat at breakfast. Would I stay here again, maybe not, but only because of the breakfast. If you compare the price I paid for my room, this shows how expensive.
