Beijing Chongwenmen Hotel
Not for the General Manager of the hotel, "I was just about to check in fo ra business trip. Your Maxims restaurant attracted me, but when I read what a guest wrote about penny pinching at check out and your deposit system, I chose Best Western because I know that if I have issues with the hotel staff something will be done." I'll give you a try next year if your reveiwes improve.

Znakomicie polozony hotel. Wart swojej ceny. Ciekawy pokoj z salonikiem, za nieduza doplata. Na pewno bede sie w nim zatrzymywac w kolejnych wizytach w Pekinie. Hotel is in a very convenient location, next to the subway, close to major shopping centers, restaurants, and grocery stores, and also fairly close to Forbidden City, WangFuJing, and Beijing Railway Station. It is clean and comfortable, and the room has a good small refrigerator. However some of the reception desk clerks are somewhat rude and hostile, not up to international standards. They quibbled over a few cents, insisting that it's $42.50 in

Hotel is in a very convenient location, next to the subway, close to major shopping centers, restaurants, and grocery stores, and also fairly close to Forbidden City, WangFuJing, and Beijing Railway Station. It is clean and comfortable, and the room has a good small refrigerator. However some of the reception desk clerks are somewhat rude and hostile, not up to international standards. They quibbled over a few cents, insisting that it's $42.50 instead of the quoted $42 reservation rate. They also require a deposit that's almost double the entire room charges, which is refunded when checked out.
