Conveniently located hotel close to forbidden city. wangfujin street is also in walking distance and is a big shopping street. A visit to South Luogu Alley is also within reach, using bus 60 to Nanluoguxiao subway station. Rooms are good, staff is friendly and speaks english. Hotel restaurant has a choice of chinese and western-like food. Chinese food is good albeit expensive compared to chinese restaurants outside of the hotel. I can't comment on the western style food as I didn't try. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for reasonably priced hotel in the centre of Beijing...
We were in Days Inn from 5th to 9th November 2010. Nice hotel though the room is a bit small. Location is excellent for Wangfujing and Tianannmen Square are within walking distance. Travelling by bus and LRT are convenient. Staff were friendly. No complaint and will recomend friends to stay here. The best thing was the 2 chinese restaurants just outside the hotel which provided us with nice dinner and supper when we returned to hotel after sightseeing activities...
