Our stay in this hotel was OK but our room wasn't clean specially floor I had to ask them to bring vacuum cleaner to clean again looks like they have never vacuum before, breakfast wasn't very good if you want good morning coffee go to Starbucks... not there. It's price was cheap(cost of hotel was the cheapest of our trip our Beijing duck lunch cost over 500 RMB...:-( ) their staff are friendly. Close to the subway station within 10 min walking distance, The room has good heaters, with free internet use (wifi).

I would recommend this hotel for budget traveller. The location is very good, where you can enjoy a peaceful and ancient Beijing. Food and subway station also within 5 minutes of walking. Hotel staff are very nice and helping. They can speak a little English. Room is just ok.
Just note that the taxi will have difficultity in finding the hotel. You can tell the taxi that it near Dongsi subway station.

Hotel Location was very good...near to many interesting places...the taxi driver took 120 yuan from the Airport to take me there including toll fees, which I thought was ok.
The staff were very friendly and courteous..and they helped me to book a 2 day tour to the great wall and forbidden city, for a reasonable price The room I got was small but comfortable and I guess the price was acceptable..(238 yuan per night)....I say this because a few days later in Xi`An, I got a hotel room at the Ibis Hotel with breakfast for 158 yuan per night and the standard was a bit higher than Dongsi Super 8 .
Would I recomend this Hotel?? Sure it´s a small cosy Hotel.!!

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel at the beginning of May. A very nice location, close to subway station, shopping and muslim restaurants. There is a desktop on the lobby connected to internet as well as wireless network. The staff speaks english. It is better to bring the pamphlet of the hotel to show it to the taxi driver. I really recommend it

A little difficult to find this hotel since my taksi driver didnt actually understand how to get there..but this hotel actually has a very strategic location..close to railway station (subway), close to Dongsi Bei Da Jie (the main road full with restaurants and shops), close to Muslim restaturant and Mosque (for Muslims)..very worth the money
The room is clean, internet is fast, front desk staffs is very helpful..the only problem I found was the breakfast at the restaurant was not very interesting and I realized that nobody there eating any breakfast from the hotel..
I would recommend this hotel..4 star!

very nice roms and clean
location is great too closed to wangfujung rd and so closed by taxi to panda zoo a nd tv tower and military museum
front disk crew is so helpful and so nice smiley ppl

It was my second stay at this location this year. Kind and helpful personal.
Last time I had a renovated room for this price, this time I got a quite louzy room, needing some repairs I did ask to change,...thought the hotel was apparently not full, they said the room I had last time was normally for the higher price.....oh well, found some hotel nearby for a lower price, new and clean rooms, with wifi, for my next trip, if they have a room, I'll book there instead.
But if no room, I'll come back to that one

The location is excellent for everything and is in a quiet street. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very good but however as I found initially some are not very good.My first room let no sun in, was small and got cold quickly. I changed to a much bigger better room with heat.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our family is very lucky to have booked in this hotel, its price is like a hostel but the amenities is good, their staff are friendly, they will help you with your questions, they have tour packages being offered at discounted price (our 2 day tour to Xi'an was priced at RMB500 each instead of 620.) They will even teach you how to go around Beijing. It was blocks away from the subway station, which is RMB2.00 per trip. The room got heaters, the rooms are clean, with free internet use, they even have left luggage service, wherein you can leave your bags then go to another City without bringing all you luggages. I will definitely go back in this Hotel because our whole family is planning to go to Beijing next year.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is in a very incospicuous location (the taxi driver even spent 20 extra minutes looking for it), but I found the location perfect (once I found it!! LOL), simply because it made me feel like part of the neighborhood. It is definitely not a "family on vacation" type hotel. It was clean and cleaned everyday of my month stay, but it just seemed a "run down". Please keep in mind I did say it was clean. The employees were very friendly and honest, there was an incident were I left my Ipod on the bed and when I returned to my cleaned room the Ipod was in still on the bed. If you are single or a couple looking for an adventure in China and not some "upscale" hotel that almost seems to cheapen the experience, then this could be the hotel for you.
