Generally our stay there is quite a pleasant one. Located at good location for Good Local Food, Transportation hub. The hotel staff helpful both at the front, business center and house keeping. Bathroom facility need some improvements. Good value. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

A great Hotel, if you are doing anything involving the railway, Trans Siberian etc this is a great location as you can easily walk to the station, not to far to walk to the main sites and shopping areas if you are fit, the restraunt was also very good

If you are looking for a clean, good location and reasonable place to stay, this is the place for you. It's NOT fancy by all means. But it does the job. We also purchased the breakfast package, which was great. You can't go wrong for the price!

Good hotel in an excellent location. Room was clean and had a good size bathroom. Would definately stay here again. A bit expensive for me but I guess it was standard price for Beijing. The Breakfast was the best Hotel breakfast we had in China. Jo

We were very pleasantly surprised with the Harmony Hotel. We stayed for four nights and the rooms were very clean and had sit down toilets (a must for westerners with bad knees). We were very well situated with easy access to the subway (easy to get around by subway in Beijing) and most of the central tourist attractions. There is an economical internet cafe at the youth hostel around the corner. We really liked the breakfast buffet (good coffee) and the dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The service was exceptional at the hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We have very little Mandarin and the staff gave us cards with instructions to the taxi drivers for our destinations and safe return. We left Beijing by train to our next destination and it was convenient to just cross the road and be at the train station. We had lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. This hotel is no resort but it fit our budgets and our needs beautifully. Thanks Harmony hotel. We'll be back!

Location is very good, easy to get by bus shuttle from the airport (gate 11, costs 16 Yuan), bus stops just across the road (dont take the bicycles, no need, just cross the road and look at your right side, you will see the hotel). Close to Tiannamen square, Forbiden city, Metro and railway station. Staff speaks some english. Room was clean but, dont use the tooth bushes, they have been used before!!

We stood for 8 days in the Harmony Hotel. The Hotel was well
located, room clean. Breakfast for 4 USD is not rich.
Wir haben hier 8 Naechte verbracht, das Hotel liegt sehr guenstig bei der Ubahnstation "hauptbahnhof", andere rote Linie ist dann in ca 7 Minuten zu erreichen.
Auf Tien-an-men sind das nur 2 Stationen.
Zimmer war sauber, die Lage ist relativ ruhig, Hotel liegt in einer Nebenstrasse.
Wir haben nur zweimal unten gefruehstueckt, das kam uns fuer 30 juan teuer vor.
Das Hotel ist sicher zu empfehlen, fuer dreihundertachtundfuenfzig juan fuer Zimmer im Maerz 2007 war das gute Wahl.

We experienced a number of hotels around Beijing and elsewhere during our budget 3 week trip in China. Our group has no hesitation in recommending Harmony Hotel as an excellent 3 star hotel for all the reasons mentioned below.

We stood for 5 days in the Harmony Hotel. The Hotel was well located to the railway and the subway station. Because of that it was very easy to find back also by local bus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have told us every subway and busline and if they did not know it the ask somebody else for us. 'They were very obliging. We had a standard room. It was small, but everything was o.k. If we come back to Beijing we want to come again to Harmony Hotel. The prices for breakfast and in the restaurant are very reasonable.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the Harmony Hotel. It is in a terrific location being close to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and, in particular, the Railway Station. The staff spoke English very well and were friendly and courteous. The only comment I would make though is that they were very reluctant to book tours on my behalf and simply handed the phone to me together with the number for the tour. However, that aside, it was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Very good value indeed.
