I FIND THE HOTEL CENTRALLY LOCATED WITH ALL THE AMENITIES OF A FIVE STAR HOTEL. I ILL KEEP STAYING THERE EVERYTIME I GO TO BEIJING. THERE ARE NIGHT EATERIES BEHIND IT WHICH IS FOOD FOR THE ADVENTURERS. ALSO ALL THE CENTRL PLACES ARE WALKING DISTANCES. I FIND NO RESERVATION IN RECOMMENDING BEIJING HOTEL...
This hotel is one of the finest city hotel tah I have stayed at. The hotel staff in every department very helpful and outgoing. They go out of their way to see if you may need help. Last year I had stay in so-called 5 STAR hotel they are not even on the same page as this hotel. This hotel is a great experience of both new and old China. You will understand this when you learn about the history of this hotel. 5 min to the train station 5 mins to the subway, as well as being at the foot of Beigingsfamous shopping street WangFujing. When I will visit Beijing again in January I will be sure to stay in Beijing Hotel again. The only, and I mean only problem with the hotel was the Chinese rest. Located downstairs, it is beautifully designed and decorated with very capable waitstaff. The problem was the insane price for a lobster dish 2190 RMB (one person!). On the menu it said "market price" I based my decision on ordering this dish on the other fish prices which were in the 165 / 190 RMB. not that bad for a 5 star hotel. They never mentioned the price of the dish until I rec'd my check. Be carefull!..
Very conveniently situated hotel - couldn't be better placed for shopping and sightseeing. Rooms clean and spacious, ours opened out onto a terrace. The consierge in this hotel was an absolute magician. He spoke superb English and understood our wishes instantly. The hotel is huge and not everyone's cup of tea but we had a very comfortable night and day here...
This hotel is absolutely good. The persons are workin in hotel in evry department very kind. Last year I had stay in same hotel. If I will visit Beijing again I will also stay in Beijing Hotel again. Most important thing is It is very close to every where...
This hotel is absolutely top-notch. I felt like a queen in the elegant suite I had for an excellent price. It is very clean, the people are competant and friendly, and the breakfast spread was great. Also, it is an easy walk to shopaholic doom if at the Oriental Plaza, as well as a cultural treat or just a nice early-morning stroll in the Forbidden City or on Tianneman Square. For the brave, it is right by a subway station. Highly recommended!..
