The hotel was very nice on the outside and in the lobby. The rooms were a little run down with stains on the carpet. The staff were very helpful and the adjoining restaurant was lovely.
But the location of the hotel was very inconvenient for tourists as it often took an hour to reach the downtown area in a taxi. We tried to take a taxi to the nearest metro station but again this took a long time.
THe hotel was fine but I would prefer to stay closer to the city centre area of Tianamen Square for sightseeing. Once we left this hotel in the morning it was unfeasible to return during the day
