I dont think this hotel is a good chance in the prices it has. Situation is good but there are a plenty of hotels in this zone too. They did us to pay a higher room due to the unavailable of the one reserved, with an aditional cost of 30$ per day. Swimming pool was broken, and all these was like was others people problems not their problem. I can not recommend this hotel..

The hotel was great. We had executive rooms with views over the Forbidden City. We were upgraded to rooms with a superb spa bath and separate shower and a huge bed. We could use a lounge on the top floor with superb views, with free happy hour snacks, tea and coffee. This was great as we were a party of 6 and we enjoyed meeting up after our days out exploring. We also had breakfast up there, included in the room rate, in a quiet setting. The staff were polite and helpful and the hotel's location was pretty good. It was a long walk to Tianamen Square though...

We spent several night at this hotel in October 2006. Great location, nice atmosphere and music. Very polite and happy service staff. Wonderful internet tea house at the top, overlooking the road and super fast connection. Breakfast is very expensive inside the hotel (we didn't dear having a meal!), but there is a nice cafe over the road where you can have a nice breakfast at a much better price! Would stay there again, T&M P.S. and excellent hairdresser!..

I have been to Beijing few times and this is the first time I stay in this hotel. The hotel and location is good. Can stay here again in future...

Stay away from this hotel! Its a house full of missed opportunities. The aircondition is not working, the house is overheated, the heating can not be turned off in the rooms, the staff is helpless, almost no one speaks english in an understandable way, the bathrooms are run-down and the furniture has definitely seen better days. The bathtubs are so small (although there is some unused empty space at one end) and the water takes hours to fill the tub. I just wonder where the stars come from. This is max. a 3 star hotel, the rooms are small and the value for the money is poor. There are plenty of other hotels in Beijing to chose from, at same or at a slightly higher price, but with definitely higher standing. I will not return to this hotel anymore.
