we stayed 4 nights at the riverside hotel never again room was dirty dont think the carpets had seen a vacum cleaner in a long time shower and bath took ages to drain away probaly hrs. as for breakfast hahah forget it if your a westerner it caters for the asian traveller only very limited english spoken tho they try go... I stayed one night at the Riverside Hotel in Chengdu, and it was a very good experience. The rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is nice and the bellboys are very service minded. I didn´t have to carry my luggage at all! One good advice is to have the hotel name AND address written in Chinese, and I would recommend to ... More
