Chengdu Yinhe Dynasty Hotel
The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. They were great when we were sick. Beds were soft - important for traveling to feel rested. The breakfast buffet was good with many choices. The restaurant was not so good. 4 meals served at 4 different times - my meal came after everyone else was done with two requests. Salad and pasta dish tasted like fish. My grandson rated his hamburger as good. Located in a busy area - Starbucks across the street - no little local restaurants like the Qingmei near DuFu Cottage (which had incredible Sichuan lunch!) Yes I would recommend the hotel but not the restaurant.

Chengdu Yinhe Dynasty Hotel
This hotel is very elegant, clean and courteous. Staff are very helpful and know most issues. Only negative is cashiers too overwhelmed at times due to sudden burst of checkout/checkin. Room is spacious and clean. Have most local chinese and also many english/japanese channels, should have no problem to find something you like. Not disturb policy in general very nice for such high profile hotel. Close to shopping malls(most can be walking) and easy to get taxi and has supermarket around the corner without crossing street. If you want famous spicy hotpot you need to take taxi for 10 min for a good one(most big hotpots are not inside shopping area strangely). Recommend to all for any reason.
