Guangzhou Jian Guo Hotel (Tianlun International Hotel)
We stayed in this hotel 6 years ago when it was known as Tianlun and quite new. At the time we were quite happy with the room and impressed with the friendly and efficient service. We were a bit apprehensive as to how it would be after all these years. Glad to say that we were not disappointed. If anything it has even improved. The room is clean and modern and well maintained. The breakfast ( included) has a good selection of both Asian and Western dishes. The area has since developed, there is an Ikea and the Westin next door. Justco ( supermarket) is across.If you are taking the train the bell boys will gladly transport your luggage on the trolley directly to the station which is just down the road. We will definitely stay there again.

Guangzhou Jian Guo Hotel (Tianlun International Hotel)
The hotel was nice, clean, staff seemed friendly, breakfast bar had many selections. Most importantly the price for the quality of hotel was very good (breakfasts were included). Interesting but not attractive view. I was looking down on poorer housing. Importantly, right across from the hotel is the train/subway station (the station is a bit confusing though). There is also a park atop the station. I would not consider it a 5 star but I would go again.

Guangzhou Jian Guo Hotel (Tianlun International Hotel)
Stayed 2 nites in June, the staff was very good most spoke English which was a great help. A little distance from shopping district but easy going by cab to Tee Mall.
