 | Luoyang Peony City Hotel (Mudan Cheng Binguan)
Mudan Cheng Binguan - also known as Peony City Plaza Hotel, very good impression as you walk into the lobby, but the rooms are less to be desired. At the grand opening of this hotel, it may have been great in its hey days, but today May 2010, it is really run down and old. the room was very very small with a double bed in, no room to move... but the ultimate downfall were 2 things, being a 4 star should have some English speaking staff- none!!! the aircondioner was so loud that, it felt like you were sleeping with the jet engine overhead. the manager upgraded us to major suite, decor old and tired, and it was a smoking floor... being a non-smoker you can understand the smell of tabacco.... overall I would rate this hotel 3/10, and it is not a 4 start I would say it is a 2 star hotel is better in description.
