Review of Nanjing MiLano Holiday Hotel by Lesley

Nanjing MiLano Holiday Hotel

The pictures of the hotel are very deceiving. We booked the hotel because we thought that the rooms look great but when we arrived there, it was a big disappointment. The amenities were old and the facilities don't look like it belongs in a 3-star hotel... it really looks like a cheap motel. And to top it all off, the service was horrible. It was the worst that I've experienced by far. The receptionist was very hostile, and she kept on shouting at us while we were at the counter checking-in. We don't understand her and she just raises her voice all the more. The manager was there and he was allowing his staff to treat customers that way. They don't really know the meaning of "customer service" and they don't even know how to read the chinese visa issued to foreigners. They were insisting that my friend's visa was already expired when in fact, it was stated in the visa that she can stay in the country for 60 days (from date of entry). I strongly discourage anyone from booking a room in this hotel. Eventhough the prices of the rooms look cheaper compared to other 3-star hotels, it's really not worth going through the (horrendous) experience of interacting with the rude receptionist (employee no. 196, if I'm not mistaken). I guarantee you, it would ruin your vacation.
