 | I stay in this hotel my first night in Shanghai, because it nearly ( 100-150m) from train station and if you on next day go by train from Shanghai, this is good locations. I pay 40-42usd for one room with two bed. The room is small, and for 30-35usd -ok, but no more. When I am come back in this hotel after one week - room rate is about-400RNB -about 56usd and brackfest - 20RNB. Brakfest is china's - not for european! Only fried eggs and juice I can eat - another -very salt boiled eggs, strange vegetable on steam, boiled dry rice without salt and any aditions. All meat - strange test, cake -like stone, chinas not drink hot tea and coffee - they warm, nearly cold, not hot -for me this is bed. So, I planing live 6 days in this hotel, but on next day change it on Bridge hotel. Brakfest same, but room like in 5star hotels - big, comfort, good toilet and shower room, silence, not big hotel -2floor, like family home near "european" rayon of Shanghai -west nanjin road.
So - Zhongya Hotel - for not expearance travellers. This is expansive- 50-60usd for this BED room, maximum 30-35usd. If you have 50-55usd for two person -go to Bridge hotel.
If you china's - this is your hotel,because you not know better life, if you are from europe - go by. You can trust my expearance or feel itself foolled!
