It was ok, Nothing great. I couldn't find the free shuttle from the airport and when I ask around, no one had ever heard of it or knew where it was. I paid for a taxi to take me there, even he had to stop several different times to ask directions. As for the room, it was ok. Average. So if you're just passing through and are only staying one night, it's ok.

Awful. I have never heard of a hotel where you get charged to use their swimming pool. The staff are unfriendly, fair enough that some do not speak my language but I got laughed at when trying to communicate with them. The location is rubbish as well. In the middle of an industrial estateyou cannot go out for a simple walk as pollution is too much - more than anywhere in the downtown area.

I didnt enjoy this hotel at all. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. To the point wher even the towels in the bathroom had smoke clinging to them. Badly overpriced for a substandard hotel.

I can't review the rooms in this hotel, as they denied my confirmed reservation and sent me away. After a long flight from Michigan, I arrived in Beijing, and had to wait an hour for the hotel to send a bus. They checked my reservation on the phone before sending the bus. At that time it was confirmed, and nobody said anything to the contrary. After arriving at the hotel and having to handsomely tip the driver and belhop assistant, the desk clerk said that all rooms were full and that I didn't have a reservation. Reservation or not, why would a hotel pick up someone if they have no vacancies!!!!??????? They had the bus take me to another nearby hotel, also saying that the bus would be Y30. I didn't pay it, and since I had tipped the driver 20 before, he didn't ask for it. The other hotel (I don't even know the name) was adequate but also leeched off of a foreigner who happens to know the value of things in China. I just thought that being so late at night and without a hotel after I long flight that I should put up with the staff bleeding me dry. I don't recommend this hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who has a one-night stopover in Beijing before another flight. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport, which I had absolutely no troubles with. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and spacious. I disagree with reviewers who say it's not worth the price. I thought of returning to the hostel I stayed in at the center of town, but once I calculated a taxi from and to the airport, it would've been more expensive. This way, I saved both time and money.

The hotel was close to the airport and the bell boy was very nice to pick us up. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was very old, but clean; they must have been renovating. We only stayed 2 nights so it was nice to be close to airport. 3 faults at this hotel: 1. We had to pay to use the drinking cup in our room? 2. There is a BIG sign showing the times for the shuttle bus(van) services that run to the airport. The day we were leaving there was a time change, we then had to hire a taxi. This time change notice was on a small paper on the desk top. 3. We wanted to go into Bejing and simply asked the reception to call us a taxi. Instead they had some guy there and said we can go with him. Then they kept asking when we would return. Anyways to make a long story short; the guy took us into town, then hung around us for over an hour, so being nice we even provided him dinner. He kept hinting to leave, while I still wanted to stay. We then left..when we got to the hotel the "undercover" taxi driver gave us a bill of over 420RMB! Not much money in Dollars, but he left the meter running while we were shopping and eating! Beware, he had the meter in the glove compartment and wouldnt open it! The hotel staff backed him up, which we did not like at all. They must all work together or know eachother. The manager of the hotel was not in. Other than that the hotel was clean but get your own taxi and dont use the cup in the room!!

After midnight transfer cost Y30. Hotel fulfills requirements of airport hotel i.e. is only 10 min from airport. Certainly preferable to long expensive trip into Beijing. I was only there for 6 hours so my opinion is limited!

Stayed at this hotel on 5/19/06. Everything was fine. Counter staff at airport friendly and "bell-boy" ccompanied us to hotel in van, about a 5-10 minute drive. Hotel name is actually Blue Sky Lantian. We arrived at 10pm and the hotel staff was pleasant and had our information at hand. The room and bathroom was large, clean and attractive. Shuttle van back to airport leaves hourly. Breakfast really is just $1.00 and offered hot and cold items. All was a good deal for the price!

If you need a hotel close to the airport, this is a pretty good deal - only 10 minutes away with the shuttle. Rooms are big and clean. Not a place I would stay if I were staying in Beijing for a few days, but if I am traveling through, I might stop by again. Big negatives: the brochure in the hotel indicates there is a business center (which I really needed), however, there is no business center; I had indicated on the website that I planned to get to the hotel at around 4pm. I ended up coming at 9pm as my flight was stuck on the runway for several hours. My reservation got cancelled. There had been no indication this could happen. Thankfully, they had one other room.
