I have just completed my second visit to the Garden Hotel Guangzhou, and once again was amazed at the exceptional value, outstanding service, and 1st class overall experience. The rooms are extremely comfortable and very well appointed, the restuarants offer an excellent variety of foods for all tastes, and the general service levels of the staff from the check-in to the check-out and all stops in between is well above average. I am a South African businessman who is well used to good hotels, and rate this among the best. I will certainly stay there again on my next visit to Guangzhou.

I , my husband and 4 others stayed at the Garden Hotel for 2 nights and all of us were very pleased with the hotel on the whole.The rooms were clean and the staff services were good and efficient.On checking in, the rooms were not ready and we were given some complimentary drink vouchers to let us relax at lounge while waiting .Unfortunately I have to suggest to the hotel to provide more seating area for guests in the lobby cos one of my relative had a rude experience from the bar staff when he sat at the lobby lounge while waiting for the rest of us to come down.Anyway, this is one exceptional case but I would come back to this hotel if I have a chance to be in Guangzhou again. I couldn't have been more pleased with Guangzhou Garden Hotel! When my Internet reservation didn't show up on their computer, they checked me in anyway and then cleared up the problem while I slept so that I was charged the lower rate. Staff throughout the hotel was friendly and helpful, and it was a great relief that so many of them spoke excellent English. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms spacious and clean, and the food very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

According to some friends of mine based in Hong Kong, this is arguably the best "Western" hotel in Guangzhou today. The location lacks immediate access to the subway but the amenities are pretty good. On arrival I upgraded to a room with a king-size room on a high floor. I suspect this floor has been renovated recenly as the design and materials were very new and nice. Great bathroom, nice sheets, free broadband. Judging from the view out the elevator doors, not all floors had been re-done yet. Nice boutiques in the lobby and decent restaurants throughout. There is an especially good breakfast buffet to get the day started on the right note. I am an American with pretty picky tastes. I would recommend the Garden Hotel to anyone finding themselves in Guangzhou. It exceeded my expectations.
