The construction of dongjiao state guest hotel started in May 1995. The area covers about 1200 mu of which 950(80%) is covered by greenery. In addition, water covers more than 100 mu. This makes Dongjiao State Guest Hotel the largest 5-star garden hotel in shanghai.

The entire area is divided into three parts with two centers. The main building area is for receiving important guest such as presidents and other country leaders. our banquet building can hosts large banquets and reception whilst our hotel has 180 luxurious rooms. In addition, our gym and entertainment center is in construction and will be completed by the end of this year. The third area is occupied by our garden villas, 50 luxurious villas will be in use from September.
