Was the second time during this year we booked in the Shanghai Grand Pacific. Me and my husband are happy with the location of the hotel, the rooms are nice and clean. Last time we had breakfast included, served in the 9 floor, was good . This time breakfast was not included and they offered to have brekfast in the lobby. Was not expensive but very poor, not good for me. For the next time I will choose the same hotel if you do not have any new hotel in the same location. Regards M. Teresa Barros Comercial Mahi Ltda...
I was attending the Textile Fair in Shanghai and myself and some collegues selected the Shanghai Grand Pacific Hotel for our stay. We were very happy with the hotel in general. The rooms are lovely with an Asian decor and very good shower /bath. Rooms are spacious and clean and staff is pleasant, although not much English spoken. The breakfast menu in the coffee shop is very limited and not enough staff for the available tables so it's best to plan breakfast elsewhere. There are 3 Starbucks' within a few blocks of the hotel if you prefer an American style breakfast with croissants, eggs, etc. The bar on the 9th floor is dark and disappointing and little in the way of ambience or service....the only place ever that we have been charged for a little bowl of peanuts so find another place for after hours drinks. Centrally located for shopping and tourist destinations and very safe and clean area of Shanghai. All in all I would certainly stay here again...
