Hotel Description Shanghai New Asia Hotel is a three star hotel located in the commercial Street of Sichuan Beilu Road, close to the bund and Nanjing Road.It was build up in 1943 and was the first hotel in Shanghai which was funded, designed and built by Chinese. The hotel was renovated in 2003, retaining its original look, but improving its facilities and changing its interior decoration.
This hotel is based on the advanced international economy hotel, with a total of 343 rooms. The rooms all contain individually controlled air-conditioning, satellite TV, IDD telephones, and a private shower. Some of the rooms provide beautiful views of Shanghai such as the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Jinmao Building.
There are three main restaurants in the hotel that serve a mix of cuisine. The White Clouds Hall provides Cantonese food, the Sea Clouds Hall serves Shanghai styles, and the French Restaurant serves "western" food.
Conference Facility: Two function rooms provide 500 square meters of space for conferences, meetings and banquets. Meeting services and equipment includes multi-microphone system with recording service.
