The hotel is about halfway between Hongqiao airport and the Bund. The rooms are a bit dated and I understand the hotel is in the process of floor by floor renovations. However, my room was still comfortable and not issues re the room although very 1980'sih. Wi fi was no good and had to go down to lobby. Direct internet connection was OK. If you are a gym nut like me you will love the in-hotel gym which is huge and great facilities. It can cope with serious weightlifters. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Restaurants were OK but probably not to an adequate standard for serious business meeting type meals.
