Review of Shanghai Yangtze Hotel by Tony

Very disappointing experence. Very old hotel with minimal updates. Reception staffs very rude and not accomodating at all. Room very small and noisy. (There was a big generator or some sort of giant airconditioning unit outside our window making very loud noise, plus the street was very noisy). Some of the electrical applicances didn't work or working on & off. Carpet very dirty. There was a discrepancy between the price we were quoted on the internet and the price we ended up paying but there were no point arguing with the unfriendly staffs. A total disaster. But to be fair, it is very close to the subway entrance but that's the only point right about this hotel. They would have to pay us ( a lot!) to make us ever stay there again.
