I has booked one suite from 26.10. to 31.10.2007 through ChinaTour.Net. I was very disappointed about the cleanliness of my room. The carpets was full of spots and cigarette waste stigma. Also the bathroom was not clean - i found a lot of ladies black hairs in the bathtube. The Mini-Bar was not full stocked. Overall comments: This hotel is more a dosshouse than 4* hotel. After the 2nd night i checked out and move to the Huaan Conifer Hotel (4*), which is located at the Baoan S. Road, Luohu District, nearby the business and shopping centers. I can highly recommended this hotel, very clean with luxuriosly of amenities. OK - pricewise i paid for the room at the Ececutive Floor near by USD 100.00 p/n., but i was very satisfied during my stay there and will choose this hotel again...
Hi, This hotel don't deserved 4 stars rating, the room is dirty, smelly and the staffs are not helpful. I will not stay at this hotel ever again and I don't recommend this hotel to anyone...
This is good hotel with the price (value hotel), the staffs are very helpful and friendly, especially infront door officer/receiptionist are helpful when I arrived there early morning, I just need to wait for 30 minutes then everything is available for me. Breakfast is good and I enjoy it very much. I even got the information for getting around ... for nice and better place for shopping in Hua Jiang Bei. Good Hotel, good staffs and will stay there again if I come to Shenzhen next time...
the grand chu hotel is very comfortable, well located and clean. However the staff speaks english very bad and it is difficult to communicate even if you ask basic things (order breakfast in the room...). if you speak chinese it must be a very good hotel but for foreigners it can be a bit iritating...

Hotel staff were excellent despite their lack of the English language. Excellent value hotel and centrally located. I think maybe if they could offer a little more western style breakfast it would help. I will definitely book online with this hotel on my next trip to Shenzhen..
This is my first time visiting Shenzhen and I booked the hotel online. As a first timer, I find the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. This included the bellboy who gave me valuable information for getting around. Everything went on smoothly as I was able to converse in Mandrin. A value for money hotel with good facilities for any traveller...
