The hotel appears to be about 15 years old. Originally rated as "Four Star" it has apparently not been evaluated since the original rating. This appears to be a common practice in China. Even so, the service was good and the room was comfortable. The "standard" room size was OK for one person, but cramped for two. I recommend the business or executive room. Due to its central location in Shenzhen the hotel was a good value for the price paid.
