Bamboo Grove Hotel in Suzhou was very nice.
We were given the 'budget' room for your special weekend rate of 398 rmb. They said we can upgrade to a garden view with larger space for an additional 100 rmb. This room was much nice facing the inner courtyard, 3F and larger facilities.
When we checked out, they said they told us that the rate of 680 rmb and NOT 498 rmb as we thought..We hadnumerous discussions and arguments with the management. My Chinese friend was about to call your office to see if there was a special rate on the deluxe rooms.
We decided just to pay it and go. We probably will not stay there again. but it was nice except the mistake by one of us. We will stay in an inner city hotel.
