 | We stayed in Suzhou Plaza Hotel for a night in June 2007. The hotel location is convenient, within walking distance (10 min) to Guanqian Street - the main shopping district of Suzhou. However, the hotel furnishing is rather run-down. The hotel room we stayed is a large family room with a double bed and single bed, and the lighting is rather dim for the large room. The floor is wooden type instead of the usual carpet, so making it not so cosy. Worst of all, there were mosquitoes that stung us throughout the night. I got to get up in the middle of the night a few times to kill four mosquitoes.
