Bridges: These are the vital links between the different parts of town. Forty-nine stone bridges in a variety of styles join the seven islands created by fifteen rivers and five lakes upon which Tongli stands. Each bridge has a name and these examples will give you an idea of the poetic nature of the inhabitants. Perhaps the most notable are Peace and Tranquility (Taiping) Bridge, Luck (Jili) Bridge and Lasting Celebration (Changqing) Bridge. These are known as Ternate Bridges as they cross three rivers at their confluence and form a natural ring road.

-The small and exquisite Taiping Bridge was built during the reign of emperor Jiaqing of the Qing dynasty; Jili Bridge is an arch bridge and inscribed with age-old couplets describing the beautiful painting-like views at either end;

-Changqing Bridge, also named Guangli Bridge, was originally constructed in 1470 and rebuilt by Xiezhen in 1704. Ternate Bridges are propitious symbols in the eyes of the local residents and they walk over them for good luck during wedding or birthday parties.

-The oldest bridge in Tongli is Reflecting Origin (Siben) Bridge which was built in the Song Dynasty (960 - 1279) while the smallest bridge is called Single Step (Dubu) which is only one and a half meter (5 feet) in length and less than one meter (3 feet) in width. Standing motionless for hundreds of years, the bridges bear witness to the vicissitudes of history and remain an indispensable part of the township.

Residential House: Tongli Town deserves its reputation of a 'museum of ancient architectures' as there are good many houses and temples dating from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Built along the riversides and decorated with flying eaves, carved windows, porcelain furniture, figured clay bricks, dapper gardens and small stairs leading down to the water, these complexes mean Tongli is a shining pearl among the water-towns south of Yangtze River.

-Retreat and Reflection (Tuisi) Garden, built by the retired official Ren Lansheng during 1885 and 1887, is the most spectacular in Tongli. Its name is derived from an aphorism expressed in a very famous biography called Zuo Zhuan written by Zuo Qiuming in the Eastern Zhou period (770 BC - 221 BC):'Be loyal to the emperor when in officialdom; be meditative upon the previous faults while away from officialdom.' The ingenious design for Tuisi Garden conforms to the local landforms and conditions and covers about 700 square meters (one fifth acre). Compact and harmonious, the garden is in two parts. The residential area to the west consists of an outer house and inner house including the sedan hall, the tea hall, a main reception hall and two buildings forming the actual dwelling. The garden in the east has ponds, Marble Boats, waterside pavilions, halls, kiosks, verandas, rockeries and bridges. Together with flourishing trees and colorful flowers the garden greets visitors with its beauty and charm whatever the season.

Today begins by visiting to Dr. Sun Yatsen's Memorial Hall in remembrance of Chinese revolutionist Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Continue to visit Five-Ram Statue in Yuexiu Park, Liurong Moastery (Temple of Six Banyan Trees) and local market.

- Octagonal memorial hall for Sun Yat-sen was built with money donated by overseas Chinese and Guangzhou residents.

- Liurong (Six Banyan Tree) Monastery: It is a legacy of Buddhism and the site of an ancient bronze Buddhist statue and Flower Pagoda, the tallest ancient structure in Guangzhou.

- Yuexiu Park: It is the largest park in downtown Guangzhou. Covering an area of 860,000 square meters (212.5 acres), the park is made up of three artificial lakes and seven hills of Yuexiu Mountain; hence the name Yuexiu Park.Yuexiu Park is a perfect combination of cultural relics and ecological tourism, reputed for its pretty water and hills as well as cultural relics. The main places of interest include the stone sculpture of the Five Rams, Zhenhai Tower, the site of the Ming Dynasty City Wall, and Square Cannon Site.

- The Five-Ram Sculpture: It is one of the most famous structures in Guangzhou. It has become the emblem of Guangzhou City. Legend has it that more than 2,000 years ago, Guangzhou was a barren land with people who despite hard work were suffering from famine. One day five immortals in five-color garments came riding on five rams, playing their legendary music. The rams held sheaves of rice in their mouths. The immortals left the sheaves of rice for the Guangzhou people, gave blessings to the city and left. The rams turned into stone and the city of Guangzhou became a rich and populous place. Guangzhou got the name of the City of Rams and the City of Ears.

-The Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Base was built to imitate the wild ecological environment of pandas. It covers a space of 560 mu, with a green coverage of 96 percent. - Located in Chengdu City, Jinli Old Street is called "The First Street of the Shu Kingdom". Originally built as a commercial street during the Shu Kingdom (221 A.D.-263 A.D.), Jinli Old Street was reconstructed in 2004 in the traditional architectural style of Sichuan Province during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

Over 350 meters in length, Jinli Old Street is the concentration of Chengdu city life. Serried along the two sides of Jinli Old Street are buildings built in the style of The Qing Dynasty. The Shop keepers, waiters and waitresses are all dressed in traditional style clothing, making this street feel to visitors as though they have stepped back in time.

- Wuhou Temple Museum: Situated in the southern suburb of the Chengdu City, Wuhou (an honorific title means Martial Marquis) Memorial Temple was an ancestral temple with a history covering over one-thousand-years, established as a memorial to the prime minister of Shu (221 - 263) in the Three Kingdoms Period (220 - 280) - Zhuge Liang. According to a poem of Dufu a famous poet in Chinese history, described in his poem Prime Minister of Shu written by Dufu "Where can we find the Marquis of Prime Minister, it is outside the Jinguan City among the mass of cypress. " Experts concluded the temple was established during or prior to the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907), but the specific date is not clear. In the early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), Wuhou Temple merged with the Zhaolie Temple, the memorial temple of Liu Bei, the Emperor of Shu, forming a special bond between lord and vassal venerated in one temple. Tourists will find the horizontal tablet reads 'Han (the Han Dynasty) Zhaolie (refers to Liu Bei) Miao (temple)' before entering the gate.

Day 03 Jiuzhaigou (B+L+D)
Full day tour to Valley Scenic and Historical Interest Area to visit the Multi-coloured Lake, Nuorilong Fall, Long Lake and the Pearl Beach.

- Jiuzhaigou Valley - The well-known Jiuzhaigou is a 35 kilometers long valley with diverse natural beauty. It consists of three main valleys which are at an altitude of about 2,500 meters. The well-protected virgin forests and 108 clear lakes, making the 60,000 hectares of fairyland.

- Multi-colored Lake - It is the smallest and most colorful lake in Jiuzhaigou Valley. It is like a large sapphire inlaid in the virgin forests. It is world-famous for a profusion of colors and limpidity. In the same lake, some waters are azure, some waters are light green and some are orange.

- Nuorilong Fall - Nuorilang means majestic and grand waterfall in Tibetan language. At an elevation of 2,365 meters, the fall is 300 meters wide and 20 meters high. The surging currents rush passionately and dash down in a series of cascades. In the morning, many rainbows can be seen hanging up in the valley in the sunshine, which makes the Nuorilang Fall more charming and attractive.

- Long Lake - It is the longest lake in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area with the shape of 'S' hidden in the valleys. The lake meanders for miles, with snow-capped peaks, colorful forests, blue sky and white cloud mirrored in the crystal clear water.

- Pearl Beach - It is a large calc-sinter flow fanned out the scraggy beach. The clear waters race down the pale yellow beach and tumble down the rocks, throwing up drops of spray - like pearls glowing in the sunshine.

Day 04 Jiuzhaigou - Huanglong - Chengdu (B+L)
Transfer to Huanglong. Visit the Huanglong Monastery and the Multi-coloured Pools with hundreds of steps. Take flight to Chengdu and transfer to the hotel.

- Huanglong Scenic and Historical Interest Area - Situated in the Songpan County in the northwest of Sichuan, Huanglong is world-famous for its colorful lakes formed by calcification, snow-capped peaks, glaciers, mountain landscape, diverse forest ecosystems, waterfall and hot springs. The colorful pools of different sizes and shapes show various dreamlike colors, yellow, blue, green and blown. It was listed as a world natural and cultural heritage by the UNESCO in 1992.

Day 05 Chengdu - Dujiangyan - Chengdu (B+L)
Take car to Dujiangyan City to visit the Dujiangyan Irrigation Project of China covering the Dragon-Taming Temple, the Erwang Temple and the Anlan Suspension Bridge. Transfer to Chengdu and visit the Wuhou Memorial Temple.

- Dujiangyan Irrigation Project - Built in 256BC, it is the oldest preserved dam in the world. It is a successful example of water-control, taking advantage of energy of water and nature to fulfill flood discharge, irrigation and sand cleanup as well as the sustaining development. The scenery around the irrigation project is beautiful and there are many places of historical interest.

- Wuhou Memorial Temple - It is a shrine in memory of Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of the Shu Kingdom and a famous military strategist of the Three Kingdoms Period.

Lhasa (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Potala Palace (The world famous Potala Palace is located on "Red Hill", to the west of old Lhasa. It was originally built in the 640's, during the reign of King Songtsan Gampo.The 13-story palace stands 117 metres high and has over 1,000 rooms. It covers an area of 130,000 square metres. The entire building is made of stone and wood, with walls averaging 3 metres thick. After the peaceful liberation of Tibet, the Potala was listed as a cultural relic under the special protection of the state, which is the universal symbol of the Tibetan people.) Johkang Temple(The Jokhang Temple is one of Tibet's holiest shrines, originally built in 647 A.D. in celebration of the marriage of the Tang Princess Wencheng and the Tubo King Songtsen Gampo. Located in the center of old Lhasa, the temple was built by craftsmen from Tibet, China, and Nepal and thus features different architectural styles. The temple is also the spiritual center of Tibet and the holiest destination for all Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims.)

Then go to Barkhor Market and Tibetan medical centre; Barkhor Market was founded in the heart of Lhasa circling the Jokhang Temple. It s the earliest street of old Lhasa city. Houses and small inns were built all around the street, shops and businesses were set up in the Barkhor.

Lhasa (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Sera Monastery (Sera Monastery lies 4 km north of Lhasa, and was one of only eight [of some 3000] monasteries in all of Tibet to be spared the vicissitudes of the Cultural Revolution. It is here that the monks' famous daily debates take place, at 3.30pm. They are highly stylized with much clapping and stamping, and always attract many spectators. Photos are no problem, which is very rare in Tibet, so make the best of it. Sky burials are still occasionally practiced at Sera, although they are much less common than they used to be because of the unholy and unhealthy interest shown by tourists.) and Drepung Monastery(Drepung Monastery, the largest and richest monastery in Tibet, was founded in 1416 by a disciple of Tsong Khapa under the patronage of a noble family and later enlarged by the Fifth Dalai Lama. Drepung, which means rice heap in Tibetan, lies 8 kilometers west of Mt. Gambo Utse. The monastery covers a floor space of more than 200 thousand square meters. At its peak, it had a registration of more than 10,000 thousand monks. Many high and learned lamas had studied here.)

Norbulingka(Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden," a fitting title for this 250-year-old park built near a medicinal spring in the western suburbs of Lhasa. It began as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama, but was soon expanded to include space for the whole governmental administration. The entire park has more than 370 rooms of different sizes. Lawns are shaded by green trees and embroidered with various flowers. Given the landscaping of flowers and trees around the medicinal spring, Norbulingka is also known as "the park within the park.")

Day 4

Lhasa Tsedang(B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit of Samye, the oldest monastery in Tibet. A flat-bottomed boat takes about 1.5 hours to cross the Yarlung Tsangpo River, yet on the return with the current behind, it takes only half an hour. On the opposite bank, board a truck and drive across the sand dunes to Samye.(if the water level is not high enough for sailing, we will drive you to Samye Monastery )Explore the monastery and the many chapels. After lunch, druve back to Tsedang about 45 minutes from Tsedang and visit the fortress structure of Yambu Lakhang.

Day 5

Tsedang Gyantse- Shigatse (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. A spectacular drive that crosses the Kamba La, reached in 2 hours, at 4794 m high, from where there is a spectacular view of Yamdrok Tso Lake then reach to Karo La at 5010 m before following the turquoise waters of the sacred lake of Yamdrok Tso. The road descends in a series of switch backs to eventually join the Yarlung Tsangpo visible way below. This is a long, yet spectacular day. Visit the Gyangtse Kumbum. (This giant stupa rises over four symmetrical floors and a clockwise route spirals up through them passing through eight chapels) in Gyantse and then continue your trip to Shigatse.

Day 6

Shigatse Tingri/Xegar(B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Tingri with a stop to visit the Sakya monastery, also known as dPal Sa skya or Pel Sakya ("White Earth" or "Pale Earth") is a Buddhist monastery situated 25 km southeast of a bridge which is about 127 km west of Shigatse on the road to Tingri.

Day 7

Tingri/Xegar Rongbuk (B/LD)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Rongbuk monastery, situated half-way up the mile-wide, 20-mile long valley at 16,500 feet, is accessible today by vehicle over an obscure, rough track that crosses frozen streams and deep dry washes. In the days of Mallory and Irvine, it took a five-week walk from Darjeeling, in the Indian foothills of the Himalaya, to arrive at this spot. One gradually gains altitude on the high Tibetan plain and, on crossing the last pass, one's entire view is filled with a panorama of the mythically charged horizon: Shishipangma, Mount Everest, and Cho Oyu are among the great peaks that lie ahead and Mt Everest base camp. towers over the region. Besides, more than 40 snow capped peaks are open to mountain climbing enthusiasts. Each year, thousands of adventurers and mountaineers come to Tibet to challenge both nature and themselves. Southern Tibet also offers primeval forests, running waters, and a relatively mild climate.

Rongbuk Shigatse(B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. To Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet and important trading and administrative centre. Visit Shigatse market and Tashilunpo Monastery founded in 1447 and one of the four major monasteries of the Yellow hat faction .

Lhasa-Yangbajin Namtso Laka-Lhasa (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to visit the Yangbajin (Yangbajing is a small town 75km to the north of Lhasa city, at the south end of the Mt. Nyianchentangula, is famous for its geothermos heat, because of the movement of two crust plates (the Euro - Asia plate and the Indian ocean plate), this area became fratured, and rose violently, forming the Nyianchentangula mountain range. Because of the underearth heat and the cool air around, these combine to make this area a nice place for husbandry in Tibet. The wool produced from here is in high quality.) Namtso Lake, (another holy lake in Tibet, is located near Damshung, 4718 meters above sea level and is the highest saltwater lake in the world and the second largest saltwater lake in China. Around it is huge grassland, in summer time it is nice to see yaks, sheep, horses, wild donkeys, rock goats, bears and other wild animals wondering around. Pilgrims passed words on their mouthes that every sheep year by Tibetan canlendar, there was a grand get - together of Buddhas, vajhas, avolokitesvaras, gudians would gathered here at the invitation of the - God Nyianchentangula, so they thought trekking and paying their homage to this lake at sheep year would be a kind of great bless from the Gods.), after visiting, drive back to Lhasa.

Day 11

Lhasa (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Shoton Festival(during Aug 20-29 every year). Norbulingka The opera festival is one of the greatest festivals in Tibet. In ancient times pious folks went into mountain hermitages for penance, and on the last day of which yogurt was served for meal, entertainment of folk songs and dances followed. Since the 7th century, opera performances were held for days in Norbulingka. Presently, opera contests and distribution of prizes are held for seven days.

(Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden," a fitting title for this 250-year-old park built near a medicinal spring in the western suburbs of Lhasa. It began as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama, but was soon expanded to include space for the whole governmental administration. The entire park has more than 370 rooms of different sizes. Lawns are shaded by green trees and embroidered with various flowers. Given the landscaping of flowers and trees around the medicinal spring, Norbulingka is also known as "the park within the park.")

Day 1 Beijing - Datong (D)

Take K177(1312/1925) from Beijing to Datong. Upon arrival, local guide will meet you at railway station and take you to check in local hotel and have dinner there.

Day 2 Datong (B, L, D)

After breakfast, guide and driver will take you to visit the miserable Yungang Grottoes Cave, Nine Dragon Screen and Hanging Temple in Hunyuan County. Return to Datong.

- Yungang Grottoes (simplified Chinese: 云冈石窟; traditional Chinese: 雲崗石窟; pinyin: Yúngāng Shíkū) are ancient Buddhist temple grottoes near the city of Datong in the Chinese province of Shanxi. They are excellent examples of rock-cut architecture and one of the three most famous ancient sculptural sites of China. The others are Longmen and Mogao.

- The Datong Nine Dragon Screen, built over 600 years ago, is presently the oldest and largest glazed screen in China today. It is three times larger than that in Beihai Park Beijing City. The screen, built for the thirteenth son of Zhu Yuanzhang, the first Emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), has been well preserved and remains intact to this day. It is made up of 426 specially-fired glazed bricks, with a height of 8 meters (about 26 feet), 2.02 meters (6.6 feet) thick and 45.5 meters (149 feet) long. The Screen can be divided into three parts, the pedestal, body and roof.

- Hanging Temple (simplified Chinese: 悬空寺; traditional Chinese: 懸空寺; pinyin: Xuánkong Sì) is a temple built into a cliff ( 75m Above the ground ) near Mount Heng in the province of Shanxi. The closest city is Datong, 65 kilometers to the northwest. Along with the Yungang Grottoes, the Hanging Temple is one of the main tourist attractions and historical sites in the Datong area. Built more than 1,500 years ago, this temple is unique not only for its location on a sheer precipice but also because it includes Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian elements.

Day 3 Datong - Beijing (B)

After breakfast, be transferred to railway station for train K616 0833/1425 return Beijing. Farewell.

Day 1 Beijing - Taiyuan - Pingyao (L, D)

In Beijing, you will be met at hotel lobby and transfer to West Railway Station for fast train (soft seats) to Taiyuan: D2005, 08:40-12:01.

In Taiyuan on arrival, local guide will meet you at Taiyuan railway station and take you to have lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, we will drive to Wutaishan (about 4hr), entry into the Mountain area and check in Huahui Shanzhuang Hotel.

- Mount Wutai (Chinese: 五台山(pinyin): Wǔtái Shān; literally "Five Plateau Mountain"), also known as Wutai Mountain or Qingliang Shan, located in Shanxi, China, is one of the Four Sacred Mountains in Chinese Buddhism. The mountain is home to many of China's most important monasteries and temples. Mount Wutai's cultural heritage consist of 53 sacred monasteries, and they were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009.

Each of the four mountains are viewed as the abode or place of practice (dàocháng; 道場) of one of the four great bodhisattvas. Wutai is the home of the Bodhisattva of wisdom, Manjusri or Wenshu (Traditional: 文殊) in Chinese. Mount Wutai also has an enduring relationship with Tibetan Buddhism. It takes its name from its unusual topography, consisting of five rounded peaks (North, South, East, West, Central), of which the North peak, called Beitai Ding or Yedou Feng, is the highest, and indeed the highest point in northern China.

Day 2 Wutaishan (B, L, D)

Visit Pusa Peak, Xiantong Temple, Tayuan Temple, Wanfo Temple, Shuxiang Temple, Bishan Temple and Nanshan Temple. Stay there overnight.

- Nanshan Temple (Chinese: 南山寺) is a large temple in Mount Wutai, first built in Yuan Dynasty. The whole temple comprises seven terraces, divided into three parts. The lower three terraces are named Jile Temple (极乐寺); the middle terrace is called Shande Hall (善德堂); the upper three terraces are named Youguo Temple (佑国寺). Other major temples includes Xiantong Temple, Tayuan Temple and Pusading Temple.

Day 3 Wutaisha - Taiyuan - Beijing (B, L, D)

Today's highlights would be Dailuo Peak visit double way cable cars, Longquan temple and Foguang Temple before lunch, and we will drive back to Taiyuan Railway station for fast train (soft seats) return Beijing: D2024, 19:11-22:28. Farewell!

- Bamboo Monastery: On the beautiful wooded Yu'an Mountain, only twelve kilometers (seven miles) northwest of Kunming, is the famous Buddhist Qiongzhu Temple. The temple and the bamboo forest that surround it have a wonderful and mysterious legend about their origins.

Day 02 Kunmin (B, L, D)
After breakfast, drive to Lunan county to visit Stone Forest. Return to Kunming in the afternoon to visit Golden Temple.

- Stone Forest: 90km to the south of Kunming. Due to a process of weathering and erosion, nature has created an art gallery of stone sculpture there.
- Golden Temple: Located on top of Mingfeng (Singing Phoenix) Hill is the home of the Taoist Taihe Palace (Hall of Supreme Harmony), which is the largest copper temple in China. It is also known as the Tongwa Temple (Bronze Tile Temple) and by its popular name, the Golden Temple.

Day 03 Kunmin -> Lijiang (B, L, D)
Take morning flight to Lijiang. Visit the Baisha Murals in local village and then go forward Lijiang Ancient Town.

- Baisha Mural: With the introduction of the Buddhism, people painted plenty of murals on the walls of temples in the Ming Dynasty.
- Lijiang ancient town: The town was built in the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty and was listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world's major cultural heritages in 1997. Its Square Street is very famous.

Day 04, Lijiang-Beidiwan, Half Way Hostel (BLD)
Morning drive to town Qiaotou, trekking 7-8 hours from upper trail of Tiger Leaping Gorge to Bendiwan, Half Way Hostel, the tiger Leaping Gorge is one of the deepest canyons of the world, famous in the world for its majesty grotesquery.

Overnight in Half Way Hostel.

Day 05, Bendiwan, Half Way Hostel-Tina's Guest House-Walnut Grove-Daju (BLD)

Trekking 4-5 hours to Tina's Guest House，8 km, after lunch in Tina's Guest House, trek to Walnut Grove.

Optional trekking route:
a), trek along the road, 2km to trek to Walnut Grove. It is a light trekking; you could choose this route if you fell tired after a long trekking this morning.

b), Down step along the Teacher Zhang's Family path to get to the lowest trai, then trek along the Yangtzer River for 3-4 hours, you will pass by the ray of sunlight. This part of route is one of the most risk hiking. You could choose it if you do not fell tired. Please give up it if it is rain season. The suite time on Jan, Feb, March, April, May, Otc, Nov, Dec.

Get to Walnut Grove, then accross the Yantzer River by a small boat, reach to the Daju Village old fery, overnight in the Piao Piao Hostel.

Day 06, Daju- (BLD)

Taking 1 hours to Guole from Daju village treking along the Jinsha river for 5 hours(8:00am-13:00pm) to the Stone Town, have lunch in Stone Town, visiting the Stone Town, sightseeing along the Jinsha River-Valley. Overnight in
Mu's Family House.Suitable time: all year

Day 07, Stone Town to Yulong Mountain, (BLD)
After breakfast ,take bus to Yak meadow to see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. After lunch, enjoy the 500 actors performance of Impression of Lijiang directed by Zhang yimou before he directed the Open Ceremony of Olympic of 2008. Check in hotel Zen Garden

Baoshan Stone City Nearly 130Km northeast of Lijiang lies the remarkable community of Baoshan Shi Gu Cheng (Baoshan Ancient Stone City ) , usually called Baoshan , but not to be confused with the much large Baoshan , the main city of western Yunnan , southwest of Dali . This Baoshan has only 100 families. It occupied a dazzling site, on a ridge overlooking the Upper Yangzi River (jin Sha Jiang), surrounded by tightly ascending terraced fields. Many of the house are carved from the living rock or have sections made from the red stone. Some even have tables, stools beds and cupboards cut from the rocky ridge.

Day 08 Lijiang -> Kunming - Departure (B, L)
Take morning flight to Kunming. We will visit Dragon Gate in Western Hills there to finish our Kunming trip.

Drive to airport for your departure flight in the afternoon. Farewell, Kunming.

- Western Hills: Lying in the western suburbs of Kunming, it is also called 'Sleeping Buddha Hills'. For looked at from a distance, they have the appearance of a giant sleeping Buddha. They have also been given another name - 'Sleeping Beauty Hills' for the hills when viewed together look like a beautiful young lady laying beside Dianchi Lake with her face upward and her hair trailling into water. You can see the outline of her face, chest, and legs clearly.
- Being the outstanding scenic place in Western Hills, Dragon Gate is a big exquisite stone carved edifice. The stone paths, stone rooms, stone grottos, and stone Buddhist figures are all carved with excellent craftsmanship on a large natural rock. Like Sanqing Pavilion, Dragon Gate was also built on cliff. You can stand on the edge of the cliff holding the railing, looking downward to experience the steepness of the hill and enjoy the spectacle of Dianchi Lake.

Pick-up from the hotel between 8:00am and 8:30am, and then drive to Mount Hua.It will take you 2 hours.

After having lunch (11:30 am),you will have a visit to Mount Hua.

Huashan is always known for its precipitousness, with an altitude of 2,200 meters.It is located in Huayin County, Shaanxi Province. It is one of the noted Five Mountains in China and called the West Mountain in ancient times.

There are five peaks: the Morning Sun Peak(the East Peak ), the Lotus Flower Peak（the West Peak ）,the Jade Lady Peak(the Central Peak)，the Wild Goose-resting Peak(the South Peak)，the Cloudy Terrace Peak(the Norht Peak).

From a distance, these five peaks look like a lotus flowers among the mountains, hence the name of Mount Hua (Hua means flowers in Chinese).

After watching the sunrise, go down and have the lunch at the foot of the hill, and then back to Xi an downtown. You can extent the tour in Xian or departure.

- Wuhouci Temple: It is a place to commemorate Zhuge Kongming in Three Kingdoms around 2 and 3 centuries. Zhuge Kongming is an avatar in China.
- Du Fu Cottage: The poet Du Fu lived in Chengdu for years. In the west suburbs of the city, he built for himself a thatched hut and wrote a lot of poems here. The poet's thatched cottage is an important scenic and historic spot in Chengdu.

Day 2 (B, L) Chengdu
Today we will drive to explore the mysterious Mt. Qingcheng famed of Daoism by cable car and marvalous Dujiangyan Irrigation. There is a small inner lake called Yuecheng Lake we can also get a glance.

- The front gate of Mt. Qingcheng: Located about 15 kilometers from the southeast of Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, Mt. Qingcheng lies amidst the Western Mountains covered with pure white snow, and dominates the fertile land of Chengdu.
- Dujiangyan: It is an Irrigation System, which was built over 2250 years ago to irrigate the Chengdu Basin, and it has been cultivated the whole basin for more than 2000 years already.
- Cable Car on Mt. Qingcheng: You can take the cable car for deep feeling of the Mt.Qingcheng.
- Yuecheng Lake: Yuecheng Lake is located in the foot of Yuecheng Hill.

Day 3 (B, L) Chengdu
Our focus today is the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in the morning and Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan in the afternoon.

- Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan: Founded in 1992, this museum occupies an area of 7000 square kilometers, and has a exhibition of the cultural relics excavated from No1 and No2 sacrificial pits of Shang Dynasty (from 16th-11th century B.C.). There are thousands of pieces of invaluable relics such as bronze ware, jade ware, gold ware, pottery, and bone ware on the exhibition, where you can get a closed look and learn more about the ancient China.
- Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding : It locates at the Axe Hill 10 kilometers from the north suburb of Chengdu City. It covers an area of 600 acres. The environment here is exquisitely designed; the air is refreshing with the bamboo growing luxuriantly and flocks of wild birds flying around. (There are two Personal interactions with the pandas. One is enjoying seeing Feeding at 9am or 2pm and another is taking photo with them by donating RMB300-500 for adult pandas or RMB50-100 for baby pandas. You can consult with our guide who will be there assisting you on it before visit. You will be highly appreciated if can do something for them.)

Full day Li River Cruise to Yangshuo with lunch aboard and return to Guilin late in the afternoon.

- Li River Cruise: Depart in the morning. Be transferred for 4.5 hours wonderful cruise.You will enjoy the most beautiful mountains and water. Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo in the afternoon. Have a short exploration to the old town before being transferred back to hotel.

Day 3 (B, L) Guilin / Xian
Have private city tours to the Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Then you will be transferred to the airport.

When you arrive in Xian, you will be picked up at the airport and drop you off to the hotel.

- Elephant Trunk Hill: Located between the Li River and the Peach Blossom River, the whole hill looks like a giant elephant with a long trunk, it is the symbol of Guilin city.

- Reed Flute Cave: It is Guilin's largest and most impressive cave. Its name is explained by the fact that reeds for making flutes and pipes have been grown in this region since ancient times. This dripstone cave is 790 feet deep, and a
visitor will walk for some 550 yards through a zigzagging sea of stalactites and stalagmites in dazzling colors.

Day 4 (B, L) Xi'an
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, the Bell Tower and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show in the evening.

Day 03: Lhasa- Namtso Lake- Lhasa (B, L, D)
Full day trip to Yambajan (or Yangpachen) and the mysterious Namtso Lake. Return to Lhasa in the late afternoon.

--Yambajan: It is famous for its hot spring and is a nice choice for those who want to get a close look at the Tibetan herders (drokpa) and their semi-nomadic lifestyle.Covering an area of about 150,000 square meters, Yambajan, 87 kilometers away from Lhasa, is situated in the basin at the foot of Nyainqentanglha Mountains to the northwest of Lhasa.

--Namtso Lake: Lake Namtso is located in Nagqu Prefecture, about 260 kilometers from Lhasa City and 60 kilometers from Damxung County. From Damxung to Lake Namtso, you have to drive on a gravel road and climb over a snow mountain. In the rainy season, the road, which may be destroyed the heavy rain, will make it difficult for the minibuses with low chassis to drive on.

Day 04:  Lhasa departure (B)

Tour Schedule:
Day 1, Beijing -> Heihe
Take morning flight from Beijing to Heihe city.
Upon arrival, be met and transfer to hotel there. Visit the city accompanied by your guide, the Pedestrian Street, Yanjiang park of Heilongjiang and Wangsu Park. We can take cruise on the Black Dragon River (Heilongjiang named) to view the scenic spots along the bank, visit the Daheidao Free Trade Zone (the china side of Daheidao International Market), and then go forward to the Sino-Russian Film Base to view the film settings.

Day 2, Heihe -> BeiAn (Wudalianchi) (B)
Take morning train #4032 (07:37-13:22) from Heihe to BeiAn in which the famous Wudalianchi is located. Upon arrival, drive to visit Cold Stone Spring Scenic Area for 1hour, herbal spring lake, Stone Dragon (Shilong) Stairs, Former Volcanic ice cave for another 1hour. And stay overnight there at local hotel.
Day 3, BeiAn - Qiqihar (B)
Continue to visit the volcanic spots there: new volcanic scenic area in Black Dragon Hill, Huoshao Hill, feel the earth stream, follow the steps of the second pool and third pool, take 3.5hr for this line. Drive to Qiqihar after lunch for about 4hr and check in local hotel there.

Day 4, Qiqihar -> Harbin (B)
Drive 40min to visit the Zalong Natural Protection Area which is famed for its red-crested crane and wetland for 1.5hr.
You can take self-paid motor boat to swift cross the reed marshes or overview the whole wetland by powerful telescope.
After wetland wonder, we will take time to walk around the Neijiang Park and Zhongshan Square for 1.5hr.
Take afternoon train from Qiqihar to Harbin: T5008, 15:27-18:36. Stay overnight in Harbin hotel.

Day 5, Harbin -> Beijing (B)
Visit Sun Island, Indoor Ice-lamp display, Northeast Tiger Park, St. Sophia Church, Central Street and Monument of the Flood-Defense. Take evening flight back to Beijing.

- Sun Island: The Sun Island on the northern shore of Songhua river in downtown Harbin is a 38-square-km affair covered with sand dunes. In summer it is a well-known holidaymaking resort, while in winter it puts on a magnificent look. The island is the site of an international snow carving competition, which takes place every January.

- Siberia Tigers Park: It was opened in 1996 on Sun Island. A large recreational district is currently under development, featuring gardens, swimming lakes, cafes, and a hunting range. The goal of the reserve is to save, study and breed tigers in captivity and eventually release them into their natural habitat.

- Center Street: It is the most prosperous street in Harbin. It is also an architecture art gallery with the building in many kinds of the styles such as Baroque, Eclecticism and so on.

-Santa Sophia Church: It is jammed into an area of new construction, most notably several karaoke entertainment complexes with monumental Roman statuary mounted on their garish facades.

Day 01 Kunming arrival (D)
Upon arrival, be met at airport and transfer to local hotel.
Take afternoon time to visit Bamboo Monastery (Qiongzhu)with dinner included. You can also go to the Kundu Night Market around the nearby streets.

- Bamboo Monastery: On the beautiful wooded Yu'an Mountain, only twelve kilometers (seven miles) northwest of Kunming, is the famous Buddhist Qiongzhu Temple. The temple and the bamboo forest that surround it have a wonderful and mysterious legend about their origins.

Day 02 Kunmin (B, L, D)
After breakfast, drive to Lunan county to visit Stone Forest. Return to Kunming in the afternoon to visit Golden Temple.

- Stone Forest: 90km to the south of Kunming. Due to a process of weathering and erosion, nature has created an art gallery of stone sculpture there.
- Golden Temple: Located on top of Mingfeng (Singing Phoenix) Hill is the home of the Taoist Taihe Palace (Hall of Supreme Harmony), which is the largest copper temple in China. It is also known as the Tongwa Temple (Bronze Tile Temple) and by its popular name, the Golden Temple.

Day 03 Kunmin -> Lijiang (B, L, D)
Take morning flight to Lijiang. Visit the Baisha Murals in local village and then go forward Lijiang Ancient Town.

- Baisha Mural: With the introduction of the Buddhism, people painted plenty of murals on the walls of temples in the Ming Dynasty.
- Lijiang ancient town: The town was built in the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty and was listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world's major cultural heritages in 1997. Its Square Street is very famous.

Day 04 Lijiang -> Kunming - Departure (B, L)
Take morning flight to Kunming. We will visit Dragon Gate in Western Hills there to finish our Kunming trip.
Drive to airport for your departure flight in the afternoon. Farewell, Kunming.

- Western Hills: Lying in the western suburbs of Kunming, it is also called 'Sleeping Buddha Hills'. For looked at from a distance, they have the appearance of a giant sleeping Buddha. They have also been given another name - 'Sleeping Beauty Hills' for the hills when viewed together look like a beautiful young lady laying beside Dianchi Lake with her face upward and her hair trailling into water. You can see the outline of her face, chest, and legs clearly.
- Being the outstanding scenic place in Western Hills, Dragon Gate is a big exquisite stone carved edifice. The stone paths, stone rooms, stone grottos, and stone Buddhist figures are all carved with excellent craftsmanship on a large natural rock. Like Sanqing Pavilion, Dragon Gate was also built on cliff. You can stand on the edge of the cliff holding the railing, looking downward to experience the steepness of the hill and enjoy the spectacle of Dianchi Lake.
