Ticket office in Hangzhou not open till 08.00
Although I booked a ticket from Lhasa to Xi'an in May, for travelling in September, it was not issued. No reason given. The only comment was that there was "no alternative". Cannot believe all tickets were already sold out in May. And if so, why could I book it in the first place? My tour operator suggested I try C-trip, from where I secured one of the last two tickets available.
I had no problems with any of the other two train journeys I made.
