Review of Yangshuo Regency Holiday Hotel by Annette

we had ra oom with balcony and big bed in the first floor the hotel was ok but worse than we espected. we would not go there again because there was always a bad smell in the corridor (no doors to restaurant) and even in the room, if you came in there was a putrid smell. the room was not really clean, the staff was not really communicative. my husband got a electric shock from the table-lamp! it was very loud outside we didn`t know that but that was not such a big problem- the blanket was (not onlybecause of its size) too heavy. the bedsheet did not fit the big bed.... we`ve seen much nicer Hotels in other streets of Yangshuo town which looked really charming and also a bit western orientated. the breakfast was ok,a lot of chinese food, café+eggs, but the toaster did not really work. all in all, ok- but not really recommendable. but: Yangshuo is a must in your china trip! its amazing!!! take a boat on Li river and rent a bike to see the landscape! go to the big-Light show, you can book this there in a travel agency. wonderful!
