A 5-star archaized imperial style cruise ship constructed in 1996, Qian Long is the only dragon shaped deluxe ship sailing on Yangtze River. For a long time, dragon symbolizes China and it is said to represent the spirits of Chinese people. Dragon actually is the theme of the ship: not only can they be found on beams and painted rafters, also they were sculptured in beds and chairs. Throughout the ship, from reception hall to bedrooms, dragons in various postures are to be found everywhere. Even musical instruments and dances played aboard, paintings and calligraphic works on walls, are all related to dragon in a certain way. The ship is 93 meters long and 16.4 wide, with a draft of 3.5 meters. Total tonnage is 5180 and maximum speed in still water is 32 km per hour. Total capacity is 160 passengers. The ship is equipped with central air-conditioning, closed circuit TV, international satellite communication, bar and coffee shop, library, gym, beauty salon, sauna and massage.

Note: You should arrive at Chongqing before 22:00PM to aboard the cruise on the first day. You can tell us your flight number (or train number) and arrival time, or hotel you stay in Chongqing. our guide will pick you up and drive you to the port to aboard the ship.

How to Book?
You can book online or by email, tell us your flight number/ arrival time to Chongqing or Yichang, or the hotel you stay in either city, we will pick you up from the airport(or hotel) to the cruiser. you will receive our confirmation email and voucher after your booking.

Note: There are only two beds in a cabin. Most of the ships do not provide extra bed, so you may need to reserve another cabin, or a half cabin (0.5 cabin) for the third person (for an adult or a big child) .
If you want to take a whole cabin for the third person, a single supplement of 75% to 100% of a single ticket is required. If you only take a half cabin, or only "a bed", the price is the same but he/she need to share the cabin with a stranger.

We spent 4days/3 nights on the wonderful Dragon Cruiser travelling downstream from Chongqing to Yichang in May 2011. This boat is totally amazing , it looks like a giant dragon from the outside and inside the decor is fantastic traditional chinese with thousands of golden dragons everywhere . The staff on the boat were great and looked after us very well and every time we went on a shore excursion they arranged and provide english speaking guides for us. Our cabin was on the 3rd floor and we had our own ensuite , and tv and fridge , the twin beds had very firm matresses but we slept very well , and we enjoyed having our own private balcony. The food was buffet for breakfast and banquet at night and always very good and varied. All over we enjoyed our cruise on the Dragon very much and we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone . From 17-20th oktober 2007 we traveled with the Dragon Cruiser from Chongqing to YiChang. The boot looks very nice, Dragons everywhere. We had a nice cabbin on the third floor. Small but very clean, two single beds, a balcony and a bathroom with bath, toilet and sink. TV and small fridge. Breakfast and lunch where buffet and dinner was served at the table, every day something different. Staff was very friendly, spoke well English and loundry service was quick and good. The excursions where nice and well organised. We had a good time and would reconment this cruiser to everybody. The only comment we have is the uncomfortable beds: back-breaking-hard!
