Currency exchange and international postal are also available.

Dinning: Dinning aboard is probably as good as all other wonderful things on the voyage. The chefs on board are especially good at Sichuan and Hubei style local specialties. When performance time comes in the evening, the girls who worked on different sections will be gathered together, playing beautiful local dances for you.

Snow Mountain (Gonggashan in Chinese) is also called President No.5, one of the President series. Gonggashan is a mountain capped with snow all year along located in Sichuan Province. Its name came from Tibetan language, meaning the silver-snowing mountain. In that area, Tibetan people and Han people have been living together for many years. Added to famous President Cruise Line on Yangtze River, this ship was built in 1996 in accordance to a 3 star international standard. 76.1 meters long and 13.8 meters wide with a draft of 2.5 meters, it is equipped with two engines up to 1960 h.p in total and is able to sail from Chongqing to Wuhan all the year around at a speed of 30 km per hour.

Interior decorations of the Snow Mountain came from inspirations of both Tibetan and Han cultures. For those westerners that are keen on Tibetan people and their living style, religion and arts, this cruiser and aboard life could provide them more to learn without having to fly to Tibet. Eventually, the Snow Mountain already earned a fame for it unique Buddha-Prostrate Room, delicious foods and colorful ashore or aboard programs.

There are 2 presidential suites, 2 deluxe suites and 49 standard rooms, all with elegant layouts and magnificent decorations. Many up-to-date facilities and amenities are included, such as bar & coffee shop, ballroom, gift shop, numerous observation areas, barber-shop, gym, business center, sauna rooms, etc. Services provided are catering and exchange, laundry, medical treatment, postal, ashore and aboard guide, safe box, room service and many more to mention. Foods in Chinese style and in western style are also well prepared.

Though a 4-star rating cruiser, the crew of the Snow Mountain wanted to promise you a first-rate service guaranteed by its extraordinary installment and management. During 2003, it carries a line between Shashi and Chongqing.

ORC offers the ultimate in luxury when cruising on the Yangzi River, the world's third longest river (at 6,280km / 3,900miles) and the symbolic lifeline of China. The magnificent Three Gorges region frames a cruise that is unsurpassed in sheer physical beauty, with draws on over 3,000 years of cultural history. During the Three Kingdoms Period (260-280AD), the gorges played an important role in the course of China s history. Through World War II, the gorges provided protection against the onslaught of the Japanese invasion. In recent years, the Three Gorges have won international attention both for the majestic scenic beauty and the growing concern over the construction of the Three Gorges Dam Project the largest dam project ever attempted on Earth. Begun in 1992 and slated to be completed (and fully operational) in 2009, the dam a feat of engineering unprecedented in modern Chinese history is a great wall for the future.

Cruiser Description:
Standard: ★★★★ four star
Construction completed in 1992
Refurbished: 2002
Length:87.2M
Width:16M
Draft:2.5M
Speed:30KM/H
Passengers: 158

A sister ship of M. S. Yangtze Princess, she had her maiden voyage in 1992. This 87.2 meters long and 16 meters wide deluxe cruise ship was the third one ever built in Wuhan. For a ship that is about 10 years old, she is still in great shape due to frequent "refits" and "tune-ups". The accommodations and facilities were up to a 4 star rating international hotel. She has 1 presidential suite, 3 deluxe suites and 72 standard cabins, with a total capacity of 152 passengers. Installed with engines of 2640 h.p., she has a speed of 28 km per hour in still water.

Many things worthy of mentioning throughout the ship: the public areas of the Yangtze Pearl are well laid out and flow easily from area to the next. The saloon or reception hall is reasonably large and bright, where you can find service desk, mini club, shop and sofas scattered around. This is a great stop once aboard. There are broad decks to stroll and inviting corners to settle into. On the spacious observation deck, you view the passing scenery or simply watch the water stirred by the paddlewheel as you stretch back into a comfortable deck chair. Every passenger cabin faces the river. Presidential or deluxe suites are distinguished by their locations and larger sizes and contain an array of special features. The ship??s corridors display art and photos of scenic spots of Yangtze River. Dining room is a big one where all the passengers can be held in single seating, where experienced chefs will offer an array of specialties to please every palate.

This ship accommodate all aspects of advanced modern techniques with satellite communication device, central air-conditioning, Circuit TV, video film cinema, etc. For relaxation and other entertainment purposes, there are sauna, massage, gym, beauty salon, swimming pool, ballroom, game room and karaoke.

In 2003, the Yangtze Pearl sails between Yichang and Chongqing for the first six months and between Shashi and Chongqing beginning in July.

These lie on the lower reaches of the Daning, which flows into the Yangtze. The gorges are truly spectacular. Sheer cliffs soar up towards the sky from the brown-green water. Mountain tops hover above the ribbon of mist, disconnected from their roots. Its "subtle mountains, clear waters, pretty rocks, dangerous rapids, sharp turns, fantastic caves, and stalactites in various shapes" create the timeless beauty that you see in Chinese landscape paintings. Monkeys, mandarin ducks and other water birds can be seen loitering on big boulders in this area. In addition to the wonderful natural scenery there are a number of historical places of interest along the way, such as a suspended coffin, boat coffin, and remains of ancient plank walkway.

March ~ November. Cruise between Chongqing and Yichang.

Cruiser Description:

Standard:★★★★★
Entered Service: 1998
Passenger Capacity: 150
Length (ft): 300
Beam (ft): 54
Cabin area: 161

While there is a large number and variety of cruise ships sailing through marvelous Yangtze Gorges, we are proud to feature one of the most valuable and most luxurious & the fabulous "Yangtze Angel". Built in 1995 and furbished in recent years, this five star winning vessel combines sophistication and elegance, well known for her novel design, graceful outline and deluxe deco. At a length of 91.5 m and a width of 16.4 m with a draft of 2.65 m, she is installed with two main engines of 3840 h.p in total, which makes it to sail at a maximum speed of 30 km per hour in still water. Same as the Blue Whale and others, this is the one we keep receiving high scoring from our past clients? feedback as well as a "best is here" promise from a confident management team.

Being one of the largest deluxe cruise ships on the Yangtze waterway, the Angel was not designed for holding more people but for giving people more space to stretch out and explore. With a maximum capacity of 146 people, it is "small" enough to be intimate and personable. There are 2 luxurious and best located president suites, 6 deluxe single suites, 6 deluxe singles (including one specially designed for disables), and 62 standard staterooms, 36 of which even have a private balcony attached. All the suites and cabins are superbly appointed, with private bathrooms, air-conditioning, circuit TV, satellite telephone and all of the creature comforts found on the Western style deluxe cruisers. The public areas are well laid out and beautifully furnished. This modern ship accommodates all aspects of freestyle cruising with a variety of amenities, such as gym, coffee house, video cinema, bar, ballroom, karaoke, gift shop, beauty parlor, sauna and massage.

Eating is always a favorite activity on cruises, and compliments of an excellent culinary staff, the food aboard the Angel is outstanding,. Both provincial gourmet dishes from various regions of China and Western cuisine are served to satisfy all tastes and appetites. There are lots of entertainment activities such as "Taiji" teaching, traditional opera, local dancing performance and some games aboard day and night. The cruise staff was very good C they let you know what was going on but were never pushy or intrusive.

Everyone was provided a welcoming, unpretentious environment, feeling free to set his or her own pace.

For a good time, the Angel has been successfully attracting more tourists each year. With grand style, superior design, well-appointed accommodations, attentive service and award-winning cuisine, the Angel is truly a floating luxury resort, filled with everything you ever could imagine, to carry you on the journey of your dreams. In the most of first half of 2003, the Angle will be sailing between Yichang and Chongqing. In the second half, it will be sailing between Shashi and Chongqing.
