Zhangjiajie – Wei Di Hotel (June / 2013)
Planned to stay at this hotel three nights with my family. Wife is very fluent in Chinese, and the taxi driver could not find the hotel. After driving for an hour, the taxi driver stopped at the Wei Di Hotel, which was a dump. Taxi driver took us to another hotel called the “State Guest” hotel – would not recommend this hotel either. The entire hotel was hot, no A/C anywhere, and the breakfast was awful. We then switced to the International Hotel on Dayong Road, and this hotel was nice. Lots of people there, good breakfast, shops, and close to the cable car that took you to the “Glass Walkway”. For one fee, everything was included in the park! Very nice!
