Review of Zhuhai Bihai Hotel by geok

I would say the hotel is 'so so' only. The front desk staff not so friendly and quite rude. We stayed there for 3 nights. Upon checked-in, the staff swaped my credit card as deposit for amount slightly more than my actual bill, and they insisted than i must sign on it and be returned to me after i settle the bill. On the 3rd night, the front desk asked us to top up the deposit which i told them off as we would be checking out the next day. They made us feel as if we are some kind of crooks! However, we like the area as within 5 mins walk you can get delicious yet very cheap breadfast such as congee, noodles, small meat bun (siow long pau), steamed rice-flour stuffed with meat (la cheong). You can have your dinner at this ship-like restaurant, right opposite the hotel's beach with further walking distance of 20mims. Here they serve good cantonese foods at reasonable price in nice ambiance. It is like the 'Jumbo' in HongKong.
