Ganlanba
Ganlanba is one of the main settlements of Dai minority. There are over 80 villages scattered in the area. It is a great place to get into local life.
Ticket fare: CNY190 per person for Dai Minority Park in Water-splashing Festival; CNY60 per person on normal days
How to get there:
By boat
Take a boat at the port at Jinghong City. 2-4 hours one way.
By bus
It takes about one hour to take a bus from Jinghong City to Ganlanba.
Wild Elephant Valley
There are many rare animals in the valley such as wild elephants, green peacock, boa constrictor,pangolin etc. It is of great fun to watch an elephant show.

Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden
Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden is the biggest botanical garden in China. Local people also call it Menglun Tropical Botanical Garden. The botanical garden was built on the islet called Hulu Islet. There are a lot of tropical plants and flowers in the garden.

How to get there: The Tropical Botanical Garden is located in the downtown. Buy a ticket from Jinghong bus station to Menglun, then get off at the botanical garden.
Manting Park
Manting Park was the royal garden of the King of Dai minority. It is the oldest park of Xishuangbanna. The night show is another feature of the park.
Ticket fare CNY40 for daytime; CNY320 for bonfire show(VIP) CNY190(standard seat)
