I stayed at the Beijing Capital Hotel for 3 nights (room 434). The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff at the front desk was efficient, courteous, helpful and spoke English well enough.
Proximity to the airport is the biggest plus. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to go B/T the hotel and the airport. My only problem was that on arrival, in terminal 3, I called the hotel and they said they would send a shuttle/driver to pick me up. After waiting 30 minutes, and no driver showing up, I made other arrangements for transportation to the hotel. Regardless of this, the shuttle beats taking a taxi hands down.
I did not eat at the hotel restaurants so can not pass judgement on the food.
Overall I think the hotel was good value (for an airport hotel) and would stay there again.
