 | Beijing Peninsula Palace Hotel
Loved this hotel. Great location. Service was above and beyond. Deluxe room was lovely and the beds were much softer than most Chinese hotels. Great pillows. Newly renovated. 2 blocks from the Wangfujing shopping area where the night market is located. This is where you can see strange foods the Chinese eat, Like fried Scorpion on a stick, etc.
Not far from Forbidden City and the main sights in Beijing. Great gym and pool. Food at breakfast was excellent as well as the one dinner we had there. Would have stayed longer if I could, just for the hotel. Also in the hotel were 50 shops such as Tiffany, Armani, Chanel, etc.
