I spent three times at the Guangdong Victory Hotel, Guangzhou and it is a charming and comfortable place to stay in Guangzhou for a couple of days. The staff is very polite, especially the concierges, the doormen, the breakfast cook & waitresses. I enjoyed my stay on Shamian Island very much and would return if I have the choice. Guangdong Victory Hotel, Guangzhou
Very pleasant hotel with all the modern comfort and facilities, located on a charming Island. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. There are a swimming pool and a gymnasium at the top floor of the hotel. Behind the hotel can be found a park, some restaurants and souvenirs shops, and even a tennis court. Romantic walks along the Island with views on the River of Pearl is the must at night. There is a local street market a few steps away, and many shops can easily be found all along the streets. There is also a modern shopping mall in the surroundings. This is a good place for people who are looking for quietness and serenity.
