I stayed in the Jade Emperor in a Standard room for three nights in August 2010. The location is very good: The hotel is right next door to the Hangzhou Silk Museum and it is only a fifteen walk to the West Lake. It is close to the side of the West Lake with the Leifeng Pagoda. The staff was very polite and friendly, although the level of English at the reception desk was not great. The Chinese restaurant was excellent, one of the best I have visited in China. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom was a little small and a bit old. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
