Jiaxiulou

Jiaxiulou in the south of Guiyang, the building is about 20 meters high, built it in the 26th year of perpetual calendar in Ming Dynasty (1598), rebuilt in the 28th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1689) after damage. Building forms in Jiaxiulou are all unique in the history of Chinese ancient building. Jiaxiulou is the landmark building of GUiyang.The tower is a timberwork building with attics,and twelve stone pillars at the bottom.It is surrounded by a marble balustrade. Jiaxiu Tower is linked with the Fuyu Bridge which connects both the south and north banks.
